Damnit, I wanna buy some stuff!
Got a graduating senior who turns 18 six days after graduation. No spending for me.
Harumph!

I suppose thatā€™s possible but Iā€™'m not sure. I took the thing apart and dry fired it a few times. Iā€™m starting to think maybe getting SS glowing hot does something to stabilize it or something. This has happened on coils Iā€™ve made from ss as well. TC all erratic and nothing found when inspecting for loose connections or possible shorts, but dry fire it a few times and it works. I canā€™t explain that but itā€™s doing really good on the evic mini now.

@Phill what finish coating is on that Herakles RTA?
Paint, ceramic, anodized or black metal?

Iā€™m not sure how you tell? I know it scratches fairly easilyā€¦ Iā€™m not a big fan of black tanks and used the opportunity with this tank to see if it would change my mind. I donā€™t see the point in black as it always ends up looking crappy a few weeks down the line.

Did a quick google about the coating but found nothing about it. A few reviews on this site though http://www.vaperoyalty.com/sense-herakles-rta-black/

Sorry I didnā€™t spot your posts earlier SthrnMixer. Iā€™m so glad you got the Theorem working for you.
Iā€™ve run it in power mode on an evic from the start. Never dry fired it or took it apart or had any issues as you did.
Again, Iā€™m so glad you are enjoying it now. Yesterday I put the other NotchCoil that came with the Theorem in the Avocado tank and made it single coil rather than duel coil.
I also put it on an evic at the same temp with the same ejuice to do a comparison test. The Theorem gives better flavor than the Avocado. The single NotchCoil gave better flavor than the previous build of Ti duel coil, but itā€™s still not as good as the Theorem. I gave it time to break in too, and Iā€™m giving this opinion after running a 3rd tank-full through it.
Iā€™m not sure about the link being to a ā€˜styledā€™ version. AngelCigs has both a styled and authentic version. I checked my receipt and I did get an authentic version.

***Another good thing in comparing Avocado to Theorem isā€¦ To refill the Avocado now that it is in single coil mode, I must use tweezers and remove the ceramic block to access a fill hole.
The Theorem is made so that the ceramic block is attached to the topcap, so it comes off automatically when you want to refill.

those ar really nice swivelsā€¦what brand?

that Herakles RTA has been redesigned with 2 airlfow holes under the coils instead of 4.much better flavor production

i have considered this tank, please lemme know how it is.iā€™ve been so busy lately, i cant even read the forums, lolā€¦

These:

They work really well for making the Claptons. No snagging so far.

No pictures but I bought a Theorem. It came with one leg of the coil that did not have a screw. Thought it looked a little funny and knew I had a problem when I hit the button because it went white hot. Mine was stuffed with a massive amount of cotton, so I immediately rinsed in vodka and wicked with hemp. Good luck getting the tank off the o-rings. Once I did I had to use pliers to get it off my mod. I drained the tank in maybe 15 minutes. Side by side with a dual Ti/hemp build in a 22mm Avacado there is no comparison. The Avacado is vastly superiorā€¦vastly. I had no problems in TC on any of my DNAs with the profiles that come in the new firmware.

Iā€™m impressed at how it was designed to be manufactured, Iā€™m an engineer. But the flavor and production are the typical anemic single coil type. The non adjustable airflow is not very suitable for lung hits. I would not buy again, for certain.

If you didnā€™t already, I think that comparison should be with identical builds. Iā€™ve only got one dayā€™s experience with the NotchCoil but so far Iā€™m thinking - great concept but needs improvement. First improvement is to make those leads out of ss rather than Ni or another material.

As for production value, Iā€™ll admit Iā€™m a little disappointed what Wismec is allowing. That glass is indeed tough to remove and I got mine off via some very careful tilting side to side. It shouldnā€™t have to be done that way as it applies pressure to the weakest part of the glassā€¦the inside. Also the machine oil, nasty. But I will say that I have very few tanks that provide a good vape on a single 18650 mod, but this one is really good. Itā€™s also my first experience with a genesis style and it will probably be my last. All in all, good concept, bad implementation. Another thing and Iā€™ll shut up. While our future ability to acquire new equipment has been so threatened, Iā€™m trying to buy items that I think will require the least amount of maintenance yet will be long lasting. That would put the Theorem at the bottom of that list for me.

The limitless so far is really good. The theorem I havenā€™t even opened. As far as the limitless, Iā€™m still playing with it , wicking and stuff.

Well I have yet to receive my stir magnets in the mail that were supposed to be here on Thursday but I think their lost  which put a damper on the diy mag mixer.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully that gets remedied soon.

I havenā€™t mentioned I got my Billow V3. The more I vape it, the more I think it doesnā€™t do everything best, but it is the best of everything. The top fill is like the crius, except itā€™s good. Juice control is better, the AFC is perfect, smooth easy action. Iā€™m vaping as hot as the DNA 200 allows, 600F 200W on LiPo and the vape is still not warm. . .but man do it make a cloud! Itā€™s a really unique attyā€¦when it needs rewicked I might vape a tank on the Boreas while I rebuild it.

How is the draw on the mini Melo 3 tank ? Looking at a few small combos and am needing some feedback I want MTL hits with a draw similar to a mini nautilus, not interested in a breezy draw and like higher ohms ?

Iā€™d like to hear your thoughts once youā€™ve given them a good test & steep time ! Also how is your CCW flavors doing ?
