I was shown that when I tried checking out. That’s why I opted to not order from there. I thought it was just the shipping cost though. Good to know.
I hear ya I also wish I’d have picked up one or two when they were still available. I few months ago I found that Element Vape had the Wismec Luxotic BF for like 15.00 I wanted to buy as many as possible, but they were all gone. My favorite little mod ever. I have like 10 replacement panels that I ordered from Wismec just no mod.
Umm yeah
But how would that work? You’d have them ship to my house, then me to you? I think the cheapest is ~$12CDN untracked. Maybe Dashvapes where it’s $35 for free shipping to me.
Is this extra charge due to Trumps tariffs?
Yeah, hehe, it was the Vape Kitchen line …
Here’s the canada post link you can see what shipping is like. For my address you can put in ‘L1R1X2’. I have used the bottom 2 frequently, never an issue so far. https://bit.ly/3SBZjxB
canada post has started/threatened a strike again after they were ordered back to work at Xmas. Right now they’re not working any overtime.
To pay for shipping twice may only save you a couple dollars. You need some one to drive them over lol!
When I ordered from there to my mom’s house in FL, I was worried about such a tax or fee or whatever, so I contacted them and asked if there’s any way they can not write “flavorings for e liquid manufacture” on the shipping slip. They wrote me back within a day saying no problem, and that the flavors will be labeled as “food flavorings”.
I got no surcharge or taxes. This order was fulfilled about 3 weeks ago.
I got an order from DIY E-juice last week. When I checked out, the shipping was 27, but my cc was only charged 13
yes, if USA tarriffs canada the importer and/or you pay that tarriff
it encourages people to buy domestic sources
@SessionDrummer
i might be willing to do this top secret mission once i know how it works
im in ottawa ontario
@big_vape i would not be surprised if canada post is eventually sold to a private company, just like what happened to fedex.
they hire union busters like the pinkerton agency, get everyone fed up with the service and it gets sold off and the service dosen’t get better
amaZon loves the pinkertons too
I’ve never (knock on wood) had a bad service from CP. I find most of the union demands outrageous. I think the near past offer they rejected was 7 weeks vacations plus 14 paid sick days, plus $1K signing bonus and a 13% increase over 4 years. And they don’t want weekend work or part-timers. BTW they are now in a strike position and asking the government to stay out of the fray. https://bit.ly/3FQbGDk
thats exactly my suggestion
i dug in to see how CP workers were being mistreated turns out they are not these demands are unreasonable perhaps on purpose, unions are usually busted from the inside outrageous demands and service interruptions gets the public mad at CP
how many times has this happened now?
if they give in CP will operate at a huge loss
solution? sell it as a private business so its no longer a service
the message is government services dont work corporations do
its a federal service for now but i bet you a beaver it won’t be for much longer
Oh, I hope you’re right, and I’d never bet a beaver
