I’m curious how well this thing is actually going to work. And if it’s actually going to be in the same flavor ballpark without any bottom airflow.
It’s giving strong Artemis V2 vibes. But bigger. It’s an awful big reservoir to be playing “tip to wick” with. Any mod that’s big enough to hold it is going to feel like throwing a pint glass around keeping the wicks wet.
If this was squonkable with the glass on it’d be a short form capacity boss, but from what I can tell the only BF option is in RDA mode?
I want to like it, but I’m also wishing I would have picked up a few more V3s before they went out of stock everywhere.

I can’t wait to see how this wicks. I’m assuming you just hang the wicks down? I’m glad you get them before I have to buy them

I feel like they’d get a lot more milage out of this if they just sold a RDA/Pumper combo, and didn’t call it a Plus V4.
Meanwhile, they still don’t even have the Pumper available…
Indeed, I reach for the Plus, Ragnar, and Titan all daily. Can’t say that about anything else on my shelf. I do have two of each and a bunch of spare glasses for them all. As long as I’m not super clumsy I should be set for a while.
The only SC that doesn’t thrill me is the Meson. It’s just a bit too restricted to get what I want from it; given the length of the chimney.

Ok. Safe to say my reservations were unfounded. With the caveat that I did NOT build it up with dangling cotton, as the manual suggests.
This is going to need its own thread, but, my initial thoughts - this is good.
Airflow is unbelievably smooth. Wide open is just right. It wicks like a champ the way I built it. Thick and saturated without being spitty at all. Bold to say after a first date, but I think I love it.

Just wanted to update everyone to avoid shopping at DIYVapor supply. Myself and others have placed orders with them and have seen movement and not received correspondence concerning our orders. I’ve had to reverse the charges with my financial institution to get my money back because DIYVapor refuses to respond to email or phone calls about my order.

Yes typical RDTAs that I have (Limitless, SX Mini Faucon) the coils are on top like an RDA and the wicks are fed down into the tank. It looks like a big change for SC they usually have the tank on top. Unfortunately my only SC (the Mini Robot) broke the glass on the tank. I had the Hadron SBS with the Meson tank that I gave to my son.

LOL, obviously. My point was, he and I have been together since the OG, first, SteamCrave Aromamizer, so for myself, and some other diehard SteamCravers, it’s somewhat jarring to not see BJ’s name on the bottom. We’ll see soon enough how the “NEW” top coiler works out, as I have ALMOST every other Steam Crave to compare it to.
