I live in the Boston area and it’s damp around here. Silverfish love that. The good news is that they are harmless to humans but they will eat paper and fabric. Can you get a dehumidifier? I would Google your Vandy Vape coils to find them online. I can’t be of much help there because I make my own coils and can cheaply replace them. But here’s some info on silverfish: Google wouldn’t load so try it yourself but here’s a reddit post.

I had been having fun having a night out drinking and on my way home I noticed my vape had that “nothing” flavor letting me know I had to change the wick. I got home and rewicked my mesh coil. As I was dripping and firing to saturate the wick, I was hit with a nauseating smell and realized I had wicked the coil with fur from my malemute/shepard. Luckily, I didn’t vape it and I still don’t know how I did that. Guess I was just too tipsy to notice. Summer in the desert means dog hair everywhere. With all the fans running, it gets everywhere.
@muth thank you very much, it’s lovely to see you and the rest of the gang again too. I do pop in now and again but I don’t post as much now because I have problems with my arm/hand and typing but it’s getting better now thankfully and at least it feels like it belongs to me now
