Well, that’s not something I can “like.” Aches and pains are 'cuz your an Oldguytoo.
I guess you could say I’m lucky… I was home sick from school so often, I got every bug ever invented and invented a few of my own. Don’t recall the last time I’ve been sick.
Oh heck, isn’t that fluoride thing a pita? Don’t they know it doesn’t work by swallowing it? It’s a topical application. That’s why they offer fluoride treatments at the dentist (blech, had that once, never again) and the reason why it’s in toothpaste. Now they want us to drink it. I’ve been saying for years and I’ll say it again. “They want to kill us”.
Had a feeling you saying paranormal meant that. Good luck, I hope you have an experience and good footage. I’d love to hear about it at some point. I had a friend who worked for John E. Mack.
Y’all should know by now I love tall ships. Anyone familiar with the C.S. Forrester’s books, “Horatio Hornblower”? 8 of 12 books made into a mini series on Arts and Entertainment. First episode was the most expensive movie produced by the UK. 2nd was twice the cost, at that time.
I’ve heard scuttlebutt that it’s intentional to block the pineal. You may be correct. The infamous “they” may be trying to kill us. I know for sure “they” enjoy profiting from the chemicals and drugs being pushed.
Working with John E. Mack had to be an amazing experience. I will do my best to get back with you’se after the outing. Thank you for wishing luck! So far working with this woman has been very enlightening as well as a lot of fun. Wonderful person.
Well, thought I’d groom the puppy yesterday and had a brand new pair of grooming shears…got myself a nice finger avulsion left the chunk stuck to the scissors
Witnessing a street fight in front of my house between two young women. Sorry, I forgot to bring my camera.
Big commotion outside. All the neighbors are out with their phones and cruisers coming in from all sides and blocking the street. This very large woman (our neighbor) tried to break up the fight and one of the cops pushed HER to the ground! While the two young women walk away. She is so big that she couldn’t get back up. One cop tried to pull her up and he couldn’t, lol. Meanwhile, the cop who pushed her wouldn’t even offer an apology, seeing that he pushed the one person trying to help. Finally, the Sargent arrives with his shiny, gold badge and saves the day with his calm and experienced demeanor, talking to the poor gal who got pushed. End of story. Looked exactly like TV news footage that we see everyday. I thought it was going to be another ICE raid.
They got the vineyard and Nantucket a few days ago… just saw a bunch of agents in Fairhaven down the beach gearing up early morning…AND, I bought an agents lunch at our local hotdog stand a few weeks ago…an forget street fighting here, every single night shot spotters picks up gunshots. Mayor says crimes at an all time low though…sooo…
Well, my May has pretty much sucked hard. I had to euthanize my horse on the 6th, my mom fell on the 10th, is now in a skilled nursing rehab… not sure if she’ll make it home…SO, Here’s to hoping June will be better. July 9th will make a year since my Bernese had go be euthanized…so can we just skip the rest of this year?!? Seriously though…I’m not quite sure I believe prayers are working for me anymore. This was my last ride on her, a day before she got sick…little did I know. That’s what I’ve been up to
I can’t believe I’m reading this. My neighbor, Natalie, said that she was helping and supporting a friend who had to euthanize her horse due to cancer. I am so sorry to hear this, Lynda. And your mom? Here’s hoping for the best outcome possible. This is a lot you’re going through
Thank you. Liberty had something called an enterolith, she probably had it growing for years. There would have been no way to know, no symptoms until it’s too late. She wasn’t a candidate for that magnitude of surgery. She gave a good fight but finally she told us it was time. The ultrasound showed the mass bigger than a baseball. It’s a lot… going to see my mom twice a day…we do bring Declan in though! https://ker.com/equinews/enteroliths-in-horses/
Your mom is a cutie She’s going to be fine, isn’t she?
Thx for the link on enteroliths. Aside the fact that I’m not as knowledgeable about horses as I am smaller domestic animals, this is something I’ve never heard of, ever. And it sounds like a real tough one, nothing much but theories and speculation. So hard, so hard There are brighter horizons for you, Lynda, I just know it. Hang in there, my friend
Well she’s in there for rehab for her legs, so PT 5 days a week… She just doesn’t listen. She’s listed as a fall risk…but she’s getting up unassisted all the time and the nurses just shrug…the place is a nightmare. 2nd day an employee of some sort went in to ask to borrow her phone charger, but they never returned it.and today…they left her inhaler in the room with her…I give her meds at home otherwise she’ll take too much of her inhaler. I have to be there twice a day at least to check on her… when I questioned the nurse about it… she had no words and said she must have forgotten it. I’m a cna…with no tolerance for bad practices…my mom loves people and I think she’s starting to enjoy all the attention Who knows…I just know since I lost my boy in July…I’ve been way too stressed out. Sorry for the vent…
The enterolith is very rare on the east coast. Studies were done at Cornell and it’s believed to be something in the alfalfa hay out there.
I will not. Conferences are difficult for me per cost in terms of registration, travel, lodging and time spent. The only conference that I have attended was “paid” or no cost to me per my doing video of the conference. I did not renew my MUFON membership this year as I benefited little from last year’s membership. Everything MUFON offers is at additional cost. I did purchase MUFON investigator training and found it to be pseudo sophisticated and pseudo science. The training documentation did give me insight into the practices of the organization. This is not say that the organization does not have intrinsic value, just not value that I can readily utilize. Are you going to attend?
No need to apologize for getting out the angst. It’s better that you do. We all go through the shit cycle every now and then. Your mom sounds like something I would do, get up without assistance. The reason I do yoga and other things is because I don’t want to have to depend on others to help me do things when I get older. It’s a mad independence streak.
I hope she recovers sooner rather than later. I don’t like the sound of her charger going missing. If she likes socializing (and that’s a good thing) maybe her future holds a retirement community? Time will tell. These things require patience on your behalf because you can’t predict or plan for the future right now. Hang in there, Lynda. You can always vent with us old crones who have been there with their moms
Okay, that could be signs of early dementia. My mom was like that. She was basically okay but every now and then she would have a rage rant. She lived to 99 and remained cognitive to the end so I’m not saying your mom is heading to full blown dementia. Only her doctors can give you the best information on that. It’s really tough seeing your parents age and change. They also think it’s weird watching us change and age before their eyes. Lol, it’s a part of life we all must experience if we should all be that lucky to grow old. Hoping for the best, Lynda.
