Hi Dan, yes my son. Sorry for the late reply
I’m probably one of the few of my generation that wasn’t a huge Beatles fan, but this is one of my all time favorite songs ever. Thanks!
Wow I’m glad I posted it then, it’s one of my favourite songs too as it holds many precious memories for me.
Whenever someone asks me what my favorite Beatles album is, I always reply: Utopia - Deface The Music
My favourite Beatles album has to be this one. I spent many an hour in my youth getting drunk and stoned with my mates listening to it. It all seems like such a long time ago now…probably because it is lol.

Thanks, I think so too mate.
I’m not even what you would call a huge Beatles fan, BUT, some of the work created, could/can not be ignored. When comparing it to “Modern” work, WOW, what a contrast.
My Utopia post was (mostly) in jest - I’m in total agreement with Abbey Road, although I keep coming back to Let It Be Naked
Fogerty (and Jay) would be very proud…

Great album. My favorite is “Rubber Soul” because it sounds to me like the Beatles are morphing and growing in their songwriting.
I agree and there’s a few songs on the album that morph into something else as the song progresses, it’s as if they put two songs into one but carry on with the same story. Very clever I think.
Another good example of this is an album by Badly Drawn Boy called Have You Fed The Fish Today, I expect many of you have never heard of him but you would be forgiven for thinking that his album was inspired by The Beatles Abbey Road, maybe it was.
