I’m watching eaglets making their way into the world at SWFEC. M15 (Mighty M) and his bride F23 (Mama Maybelline) have successfully hatched E24 who is now a 2-day old fuzzball. Its sibling E25 is now pipping like crazy and should arrive on the scene within the next day or so. How beautiful & precious to have two new American Bald Eagles with us for Christmas! 
Always a joy to watch the hand of God “restocking” his planet!

Phil has always held a special place for me, not only for his style of playing, single headed toms, BUT, being left handed hehe, which IS a big deal. The fact that he RELUCTANTLY, and I mean VERY reluctantly started singing, made him even more than he already was.
Here’s to Phil, and even though his son picked up where he left off, there’s just NO replacement for Phil.
I think Neil Peart gets credited very often for creating the MOST new drummers out there, even “Air Drummers”, but Phil should also get a lot of credit for that as well …

Yea Phil is fantastic! I remember way back in like '78 or so I first heard Supper’s Ready and it got to the Apocalypse in 9/8 section, that pretty much broke my brain! My brother who was a drummer and I would drop the needle on that part over and over trying to figure out how to follow along (basically count it out). Been a fan ever since.

I made it through two seasons of Dexter before I finally got tired of hollering at the tv: NO, DON’T DO THAT! JUST BE A GOOD PERSON!
