What recipe tastes most like a strawberry milkshake?

And that would mean testing flavors like TPA’s VBIC along with different strawberries to see of it works for you. Don’t go on what you read until you personally confirm it.

So much truth here. And it’s interesting timing that you mention strawberries! Lol
I just got done doing a “Strawberry shootout” with 6 different Strawberry flavors, most of which are commonly (and highly) recommended. The test revealed that (as is frequent) I’m in my own little niche. I found that Strawberry Ripe TFA is not for me (as Ina is much better), Sweet Strawberry (while just ok) for me only has one application, and that’s if I were going for a candy (which atm I can’t see me doing). What I expect in most desserts or bakeries, or even a shake, is like I’d expect at a restaurant: real Strawberry taste. While RF was nice, and pretty accurate in that department, I did notice fading starting around the 14 day mark. So that means for me, very limited use (no custards, no creams, etc), so very unlikely to repurchase it, but I’ll enjoy the remainder with fruits etc until it’s gone. Ina’s Wild SB was a bit earthy, but I can see places for it. The overall winners for me were Ina SB, and Ina Shisha SB.
The reason I go into all of that, is because if all I did was go by the majority of what I’ve read, and limited strictly to TFA’s Ripe, and Cap’s Sweet, I’d be out of luck in the SB dept.

So I definitely (again) can’t stress enough, how important single flavor testing can be! If all you do is mix other people’s recipes, you’ll realize there’s “something different” between recipes, but you’ll never be able to guaranteed say “ahh, that’s due to XYZ flavor” unless you’ve done your testing. Again, strictly my opinion. As I see it.

I’m one of the ones who can’t use TFA’s VBIC at any percentage sadly (there’s pepper regardless, same for wizard labs Nic), so I sympathize with your trouble tasting Strawberry.
In either case, thank God there’s multiple vendors to choose from!

Oh yer that’s right you do exactly that every time someone mentions Real Flavors Strawberry. Personally I have had good success with it as have many others.

I’ll send some SB Milkshake and SB Cream Pie so you can judge for yourself… BTW both versions… RF and my SB base. Save em up for a couple months and let me know what you think.

I have a 500 ml bottle of SB Cream Pie made on the 1st May and it is still strong and very nice I might add. I have previously posted I made a couple of changes to it as some of the flavours you used are not available here (without excessive cost) and I posted the recipe to you which you ignored.

I have many other recipes that are older than 6 weeks and they are all still fine as well. I am just pointing out to you that the statement made by others you are criticising is exactly the same as statements made by yourself.
