Just the verbal diarrhea from people like that. Thats about it. Has nothing to do with you.
Re-mixing this one up again, while I wait for the Wonder Flavors to soak.
A question for people who use Vanilla Overload: I can only find the Solo version which recommends a much higher pct than the regular concentrate. I’d prefer the original concentrate, do you know if it’s available anywhere? I see it in the flavor database but…
Solo (One Shot) is what it is @muth.
It’s not a single flavor, but a mix of flavors, so Grem calls them “Solo’s”.
I am vaping this lovely recipe, it’s nice and creamy without any bitterness so if you like coffee recipes then this is a must try. I see you have also made this @McDuckie as I have just read your review.
Okay thx SD but does this mean I’ll be using very high pcts in my recipes? I see that you SFT it at 13%! That’s high. Am I looking at maybe 6-10% being used as a flavor in a recipe?
ETA: Your notes are the only notes on the recipe side and there are no recipes listed either to make comparisons.
ETA: Ken O’Where and others have notes on Vanilla Overload with 3% as a SFT and 1.50% for recipes. This was the VO I was referring to. Now what?
Vanilla overload is one of those highly contested flavors, where some people like it at a lower %, and some people like it a lot higher. I always felt that it was good at 3% but also all the way up to 10% as it did change slightly the higher it went, and I felt that it did also seem to start muting itself the higher you take it.
My only suggestion would be to grab yourself a 30ml of Vanilla Overload and do some testing at different % to see where you like it. If it’s gonna be a main note then maybe take it higher, if it’s a background note then keep it lower.
Thanks, McDuckie, I appreciate that but the fact that there are two different flavor pages and notes, one for VO (Solo) and one for just VO makes me wonder wtf? What’s this? Follow the link I posted and tell me what you think about that? The Solo version is only noted by Session Drummer.
Yes I see what you mean there are 4 different listings for Vanilla Overload. The only difference with SD’s posting is that he listed it as a one-shot which he is technically correct. Being that Vanilla Overload is a blending of different vanilla’s (the same as Holy Vanilla was a blending of different flavors though it also isn’t considered a one shot. And as per Gremberry Farms (the creator of Gremlin flavors) website there is only 1 Vanilla Overload available and even they don’t call it a one-shot they call it a Solo.
Yes, exactly, and thx for checking it out. I didn’t want people thinking I was being a wackadoodle. Technically, there shouldn’t be 4 listings of VO. That’s mostly database entry mistakes. Point is, the page with just Vanilla Overload as a single flavor has notes by some well known mixers. It would be great if they could chime in. @Lynda_Marie is the only one that still comes around the forum. Ken, Mofogger et al haven’t been seen in awhile. Also note that it’s listed as Vanilla Overload (Gremlin) not the new Gremberry Farms. Maybe when they were still Gremlin they sold a concentrated VO? Somehow, this is how I remember it.
Yes that is a good one. I think I’ll mix some up myself. I have enough Hokey Pokey (Toffee Ice Cream) and I’ll use Caffe Latte as a sub for Lotta Latte. I’ll mix a 120ml that should last me a few weeks.
Where do i get this?? Not sure ive seen it
VTA Caffe Latte of course! It’s very similar flavor to Lotta Latte.
Well that almost worked perfectly. I adapted that Toffee Nut Latte with all VT and was able to polish of several bottles of VT flavor. Except for Caffe Latte I still have a unopened 60ml bottle of that one. My adapted version
Anyone interested in a Free 60ml bottle of VTA Caffe Latte?
How is what? lol I’m a little confused
