Ok so, today I decided to have a crack at building my first ever coil that wasn’t just a ‘spring’
This is my first attempt, I watched a video then just got stuck in, it’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but I am actually quite pleased with how it turned out, seeing as it’s my first ever one!
its 2 x .26 twisted kenthal wrapped in a single .28, 3mm d, coming out at 0.11 duel.
and as the proud father I am happy to tell you that both clouds and flavour are both very healthy and doing really well

wouldn’t mind some pointers/tips from the experts on my first coil build, I couldn’t quite get it to line up properly but I really enjoyed making it, Its definitely something I want to learn more about

It’s called alien wire.
Original concept by a guy called @blueeyedgoon83 on Instagram.
There’s a few build tutorials on YT that can help but ultimate it’s a reverse wrapped Clapton that decored, stretched out and then forward wrapped around a core.

There’s a learning curve with Aliens that’s for sure.
But once you understand the basics and how much to stretch out the Clapton it’s not that hard.

I’ve actually been watching a few today, learning a lot! had a go at my first clapton build today, not bad, first one screwed up on me but my second attempt is the pictures ive just posted, having fun man thanks for the post

First attempt at a clapton today, this is my second effort as the first one screwed up on me, its 26ga SS316L round a 24ga SS316L paralleled with another 24ga SS316L, 2.5mm i.d. o.28ohms, vapes ok but couldn’t get it to burn evenly, still learning and having fun doing so

I like to use 26g 316L SS core with 36g 316L SS wrap ( I wish I had a good camera with a macro lens ) LOL
