I don’t know if anyone else has tried this but I never made a fused Clapton coil in my life but I got a Clapton Jig from Vaped3-D.com and it worked perfect the first time

Cool never heard of a Clapton jig will have to check it out.
Check out the video’s on vaped3d.com I made 5 feet of fused Clapton wire the first time with 26g 316L core and 36g 316L outer wrap.
Watched the videos. Think they are on to something there. It was amazing how simple it looked.
Ya you just have to set it up so the outer wire is 90 deg from the core wire.

Sweet! Makes making clapton wire simple. Hmmm, why is it that something always comes along just when I thought I had enough stuff. My wallet isn’t liking me right now.

Your welcome and it simple just don’t go to fast with the drill if the jig starts jumping around your going to fast
