The 'clone" for the Goblin at FT has proven to be authentic.
Those receiving them today have confirmed it
Its about $6 less to purchase from FT BUT there is a 20 + day wait whilst a 1-2 day wait only at best gear

Its not a clone
as suspected all along there were “reasons” why FT could not say it was authentic but it was confirmed yesterday by certain regular buyers, but most regulars there were pretty sure it was authentic and took the plunge anyhow. In deed many FT regulars were getting angry and threads were deleted by FT for people kept sending potential b uyers to Best Gear by insinuating the Best Gear website since you cant type the actual name in. So it appeared that FTs kindness was being used against them in this one instance…But it is authentic.
That said, as of yesterday, I had ordered one 2 days earlier on the 9th and it said the ETA was May 8th so there is a bit of a wait. I have a feeling that these sites all tend to work hand in hand so as not to hurt each other. I could be wrong but I think they allow the one site to sell as many as they can under the idea that its authentic and/or FT can only do so by calling it a clone, knowing that regulars will figure it out and buy it anyhow…wouldnt be the first time to see competitors work like that in order to keep all the prices up, rather than one company lowering theirs so much, forcing the others to do the same…I cant speak for American companies but here in Canada, our 3 large Cable providers for Internet/TV, Rogers, Bell + Telus, have all been accused of colluding together on prices to keep them inflated. Essentially they work together. I believe these chinese companies do the same, hence, why I ALWAYS read the discussions on a product and you become familiar with certain regulars who are knowledgable and always right…i go by what they say and I long felt that the FT one was authentic for that reason.
My guess is that in working together, they “allow” the one site to push out as many as they can for more money than FT…and once it becomes known at FT that they are authentic and the first site has sold off so many thousands or so, then the ETA becomes shorter on FT…or something along those lines, I suspect.
