It was a little hard finding one that I even felt comfortable enough to post in here! A friend that lives in NC turned me onto them.One of his favorite stories was about a local movie theater having a grand opening and somehow Rebel Son got hired to do a free concert. 
Supposedly they got to do only one song before the owner ran them off?Still don’t know if that is a true story but it is very interesting.

I live in NC and love Honky Tonk, how have I not heard of this band? Damn.
Check out the Piedmont Boys. Not very politically correct at times but a damn good band. Lots of good originals and the covers they do won’t include any Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan or any other crap they are passing off for new country these days.
