Great time to stock up on your NIC @ladycrooks. It’ll stay super fresh in transport, and sitting on your porch.
Going to be 40 C here next week (104 F)…
Getting cold enough to freeze the knobs off a brass monkey.
Any colder and your phone might change to Comic Sans.
Brah… -25° Fahrenheit coming my way tomorrow night… Can’t wait…
I don’t like it when degrees are missing. Anything less than no degrees is just waayyyy to cold for me. That’s even true for Celsius. Every year my temperature range decreases. It’s about at 65° to 80° F right now. Below freezing and I dress up like the great Canook. Soros, lined pants, coveralls, parka, tuke, heated vest, hoodie, artic mittens. Then I can’t go out anyway because I can’t fit through the door.
-41C here, it should be like -44C but clearly global warming is a big problem and I do believe we need to do proactive things like: Eat less meat (even if that means controlling our money/spending), not idling our vehicles (unless it’s an EV that they can monitor) and euthanize our pets to curb carbon emissions, I do believe we should be locked down due to climate restrictions because this Global Warming stuff is quite serious and clearly is upon us. It’s what the World Economic Forum that is advising this and they’d know, they have leaders in most countries now (including ours) and they are following orders.
For Instance: Reducing Fertilizers in war time, taking away Farmer’s ability to grow by stealing their farmland (like in the Netherlands) and restricting the food they grow (Canada, NL, Sri Lanka and NZ) and monitoring people’s activities via CCTV cameras to stop them from travelling (like in Oxford) too much only makes sense to penalize people who don’t comply, whether by death or heavy fines. Like, for Seriously guys, reducing the amount of corn we grow for Ethanol probably won’t jack up the prices of that and maybe Truckers and Boats don’t need cheaper fuel prices to transport food to the remote regions of Canada, even when it does increase the cost of food even more, I’m sure we can all afford it. Steaks are only like 30 bucks per 1 and I think that’s good enough for a month. Clearly a Carbon Tax is going to be the best thing to sanction our countries. It’s a no brainer really. I honestly feel it would be worthwhile to ban every hunting rifle available in Canada so We can’t hunt animals to take the cost of buying expensive meat from the stores, as clearly they know that if thousands of hunters would go out and reduce the deer, moose, etc population that’d be bad for the enviroment, so I guess it only makes sense to not have the people able to provide for themselves or their families.
Personally, I feel safer from having them thinking of our best interests in mind, it really does show.
It’s getting pretty cold here in Massachusetts. It was 20° here this morning but supposed to be in the 40’s this afternoon. This weather is bad for the horses. They get upset stomachs which most always requires a vet call. I’ll never complain about the heat and humidity again like I used to. I’ll take the heat any day over this!
It’s 44F right now in Atlanta. Supposed to go down to 20F tomorrow. Time to put on underwear.
Freeballin’ are ya?
It’s 4 Fahrenheit here this morning near Chicago.
Off work today but Friday is going to be a bitch.
Hauling fuel is no fun with blowing snow and bitter wind chill.
Couldn’t imagine doing it in Canada.
9 degree F here. Forecast of 15-18 inches of snow starting tomorrow at 9:00 stopping at 12:00 Saturday. 50 mph winds. Gerrrrr. Merry Christmas Chicago.
Yep, just like an Emirati wearing a kandoora.
That’s the problem with Canada… minus 40 in the Winter and a billion mozzies in the summer.
We’ve had -8°C for a week or so, now it’s back to 6°C. Everybody’s hoping for a mild winter, lots of people can’t pay their heating bills as it is.
When I got in the car this morning it was -13F. By the time I got home it had warmed way up to -9F here in Denver. We got a few inches of snow and the pooch loves the snow. People may think Denver is always cold, but it’s not. Yesterday was in the 40’sF. Below zero temps are not common here. Today reminded me of some days in Madison, WI…even the smell.
Real feel -34° F “-36° C” currently here in Chicago… No bueno
global warming
Walked out of the house and it’s 17 f. I instantly thought of the words a very wise man told me one similar morning in New England. "
F##$ this shit, I’m going in."
