A good mouth to lung rta?

Did you ever get the Ubertoot v2 clone? If so, I would be interested in and appreciate your review. Thanks

Yes got mine. Very good set up. Loads of xtras and build what you want. Good mtl and you can slipstream with it aswell.

Very good for the money.

Looks like FT is about the only place that has them in stock. Might not even want it a month from now lol. Do you know anything about the Kayfun Lite Plus V1 or V2? Can get an EHPro clone cheaper ($19/$25) here. Could have that in 3 or 4 days instead of 3 or 4 weeks. But that Uber does look like good kit.

Got mine here. There in stock.

Tryed the kayfun and not impressed at all. Ubertoot wins hands down. Definitely my recommendation. :ok_hand:

Thanks Pattie. Looks like I would be into that for about $55 usd and a 2 week shipping. I’ll keep an eye on Ebay…

Glad i could help my friend.

Found this for the Ubertoot. :+1:

Yes the one I have is a clone , the same one Pattie has and it’s awesome . Ordering from China right now would be a serious wait as they are all on holidays but it’s worth every penny …I keep it in my daily rotation …best flavour tank I own imho.

Just ordered one off Ebay, supposed to be here in 3 days. Well not going to hold my breath lol, I’ll look for it first thing next week.

Pattie/MixedUp1, what style of wicking is working for you? This guy has an interesting take on using the horizontal slots.

That seems a harder way to get it wicked when the previous video has a better way of wicking. I use the way the previous video shows you.
I have 0.25ohm ti build 3.0mm id in mine.
Very versatile tank. :ok_hand:

I’ve tried both …in all honesty …I think the guy in this video does it the way it’s designed to be wicked but the results are the same from the video Pattie is talking about with less hassle . I’d say try both and see what works for you .

Yeah it will be fun trying both. It better be, I’ve never paid 50 bucks for an authentic atty let alone a clone :open_mouth: lol. Just ordered a Kayfun 3.1 clone for 7 bucks shipped. That’s my usual speed…

Toot toot, I got vapemail today. Made it in 3 days, I’m impressed. And I don’t regret paying that much, there is a lot in the box. Very well made, don’t see how the authentic could be any better. Looked and smelled clean but it got the hot water/dish soap/toothbrush treatment anyways. Way easier to build than I anticipated and it’s wicking (did the vertical style) and hitting quite nicely with very good flavor and no leaking. Coming back full circle - mtl to cloud chasing to mtl. Not sure how I got on the cloud kick, I enjoy it and still will but for me more vapor is less pleasure lately. So having both styles is good. But I am reminded that I don’t like the taste of kanthal. Have you guys had any success with any other wire types?

Glad you got it that quickly. Yep its a lot for the money, i think the authentic’s made with 304ss but still it’s good quality. I’ve been using mine with the short tank and a titanium build 24g 0.25 ohm. Works a treat. Try a few different builds in it, ss, ti or even a clapton and see how you get on.

This looks like stainless, but what grade, who knows. Could be scrap from Fukushima. Reportedly Ford got some glow in the dark aluminum from China. My only bellyache so far is the afc, detents or a little tighter tolerances on that would be nice but it is ok as is. Are you using the plastic tank? Had trouble with plastic in the past so I’m using the metal one. Actually looks kind of cool as a change from all my glass tanks. I rolled a 1.2ohm kanthal coil, it had not occurred to me to sub ohm mtl. Well that opens up all kinds of possibilities . I tried to squeeze a SS/Ti clapton in there, but that was still with the plus ohm mindset. It was reading .56ohm iirc, will have to give that a go. And thanks for bringing up this atty, I’m happy with it.

Glad you like it. It’s been well tried and tested and hasn’t missed a beat with me. Use it daily and will continue to do so. I’m glad @MixedUp1 recomended it to me.
Try a few different builds and see where your happy at. It’s a great little atty. I’m using the pmma section atm but have used the metal aswell. :+1:

Well this is kind of embarrassing/funny. I just went back to refill (bit of a dry hit, as expected on wattage mode) as I only put a little juice in the tank for a test, and noticed a red o ring on the floor. Apparently it got dislodged during cleaning, and was from the atomizer base. A testament to good machining as I had no leakage.

I also got a bag of Koh Gen Do cotton in the box, which I like and buy when it’s on sale, in addition to what at first appeared to be a lime green earplug lol. It’s a drip tip made out of fairly dense foam rubber, and after my initial prejudicial dismissal, I tried it and now I like it. The inside diameter is a bit big for mtl, but the concept is good overall. Soft on the lips, no clicking on teeth if you are clumsy, and eliminates the need for more o rings.

guys, does a dual coil setup help in mouth to lung hits? Also, I was looking at a subtank mini to replace my nautilus mini. The subtank mini comes with an RBA deck, another RTA I am looking at is the Griffin. Now anyone who might have used these, could you please share which one would be a good MTL.

I am basically new to vaping and I have started looking at RTAs as I have heard the flavors are great and also it goes soft on your wallet, having not to buy coils etc…

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A dual coil probably won’t help you for a mouth to lung, i tend to find single coil works best.
The lemo or lemo drop are single coil set ups and the Ubertoot (my favourite) is also. All make good mouth to lung rta’s

Some how after doing my research I feel there arent enough MTL in the market except for the old ones such as Kayfuns, Taifuns etc… the market is flooded with really good sub ohm tanks, makes me wonder if sub ohm vaping is the next level up for lowering nicotine level usage. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion with the lemo and Ubertoot. I like the reviews of the ubertoot but they are all sold out on their website, any other names pop into your mind?.
