Gonna put an update up here instead of bumping the thread.

No, it did not come back. It tastes weird. This recipe on the other hand, tastes good, it’s SNV even with that vanilla custard in there. Idk what it does, it does something. Or maybe the marshmallow helps. No clue. I just know I mixed it and it tasted good.
Alright I’ve been DIY for about 2 years now but this felt like a very beginner question. I have a crunch berry flavor that I love, and I wanted to add a little meringue and milkshake to it in an attempt to give it creamy/milkyness. Only this is… After I added .5% meringue and .5% milkshake, it seems to have killed the crunch berry. It’s even hard to smell in the bottle now. Will it ever come back after steep? Should I add more crunchy berry? I think I put 2.5% - 3% in the mix. I see people with very high single flavor mix in the notes. Could I potentially add more crunchy berry to bring it back?
And also, I can’t link my recipes at all for some reason.
Those 2 things wouldn’t have muted the cereal. Maybe try crunch berry higher. What’s the average median used? I use TPA fruit circles at 4-5% in a recipe, cap silver line fruit circles at 7-8^, FW fruity flakes are around 2%. If you want to add creaminess you could add TPA dairy milk, and some meringue and even add a cream in there bit I think your cereal might need adjusting if you’re looking for a cereal milk vape.
Ok awesome, thank you! That’s the answer I wanted to hear lol. I usually mix 3% crunch berry with 2% Bavarian cream and it’s plenty strong. I figured it shouldn’t have muted. I swear though, as soon as I added those 2 to the mix, it’s like crunch berry disappeared. Very strange. I’m gonna try to add 2% more crunch berry and see what happens. One of the reasons this is one of my favorite flavors is the lack of needing any steep. It usually good after a day
Update: Still can’t detect the crunch berry, but I’m gonna let it steep a couple days. I noticed when I vaped the snv i can taste it, but if Ive already been vaping a crunch berry mix that’s a few days old I can’t taste the new one in comparison. This particular mix is one I’ve already had for a couple days before adding the meringue and cream.
I’ll just try to lay off crunch berry for a couple days. The mix smells very nice now, I can definitely smell crunch berry again. The more I mix, it’s like something that seems simple turns into a wildcard. It’s enjoyable though.
Oops, no sorry that was overlooked. There’s .5% cap super sweet in it. When I originally made the recipe with just the crunch berry, I forgot to save it.
Ok, in regards to another juice now, so I’ve read that creams have a tendency to mute flavors. I added SSA ice cream vanilla to my root beer float recipe, and the root beer floated away!!! It was a little strong for what I was going for, and it was only 10ml, so I’m not too upset. I’m interested to see how this one works out though. Im actually wanting the cream flavors to share the main note with root beer. Im gonna try a totally new mix next.
Ok, thanks. I’ve just been having trouble with the new creams I’ve bought. It must be the vanillin content then. Particularly crunch berry doesn’t seem to want to play nice with any of them. I actually re-tasted that root beer though, it didn’t mute as bad as I thought. The crunch berry on the other hand is a different situation. It’s no big deal though really. I still thoroughly enjoy it without any milky type flavor. I may figure something out eventually. It could be my taste buds too. I’m used to being able to snv crunch berry, maybe the flavors are just reacting and will settle and the flavor will return. I never know with this stuff.
Ok! Very interesting. I actually tried a recipe last week were I added 1% vanilla custard, with 2% Bavarian cream, but I only had crunch berry at 2% and it seemed to fade too much after a few days. I’m gonna try a higher percent again, it’s just last time I went above 3.5% I thought it muted. Maybe it was just me. I like it just with Bavarian cream. My taste must be way off, because I usually taste it plenty strong at 3% but now it tastes weak. I’m losing it lol.
Apparently my taste buds are just broken right now. It’s so weird, now I can’t taste crunch berry at all. It must be after tasting my new flavors. I guess something in those has overloaded my taste buds for crunch berry… But I can taste my other juices.
Is that for your fruit loops recipe?
Because I use those three combined. For mine, and sometimes a little bit of shisha lemon after a week of steeping.
Do the same for my lemon tart, adding a little bit of shisha lemon after a little steeping.
The dinner lady’s lemon tart, especially the nic salts one, is now sickly to me after dieting my own for years using FA meringue as my sweetener, not whatever they use.
Commercial juices now are just way too sweet for me.
For the original poster, custards take a long time to properly steep, 4-6 weeks min. The longer, the better. Into months.
Then maybe try your little extra touch of
Berry crunch (TFA) after such long steep time I know it’s a long wait but the longer the better when using custards.
Also have you ever tried any of the alternatives for cereal mixes
Captain crunch berries (F-West)
Cookie (F-Art)
Cereal 27 (Cap)
Breakfasts cereal by-
(F-Art)
All work as a good cereal type mix.
Even the lucky leprechaun cereal
(P-Apprentice )
It’s the same when I mix up my jam cream scones recipes leave it a minimum of months then add more strawberry jam to enhance its jamminess
Usually, Cupcake World’s strawberry Jam is my sweet, jammy flavour.
I usually mix up 500ml batches at a time.
but also use several other bottles to mix up batches of the concentrates so it’s pre mixed that I have used x recipe x amount of times so I know what I am getting from this each time. Everyone has different tastes this is to my own preference.
So i can just use them to make up as a 500ml bottle shot.
That’s as ready to use as a bottle shot so only my required nic level + VG + PG is added to a larger bottle when I’m halfway through my older mix.
Then the new one is made in minutes rather than having to measure everything out again. Other than nicotine.
I find I can also know what flavours I will require next to be able to reorder in time for the next mixing session of my batches this way…
Not for mine, I don’t have a loops recipe. I have recipes that use cereal-
I don’t have FA, but have used everything else. Leprechaun cereal to me is just the marshmallow and some dairy, if I want fruit cereal texture I use FW fruity flakes… that’s got good “crunchy “ texture to it.
For a basic cereal milk I mostly use TPA dairy milk, fa cream and Fa marshmallow although the brands might change. Nomz SC milk is a good milk, SSA milk is good… and I’ve used vanilla milk froth cap. So many fun variations for fruity cereal milk!
I did end up being able to taste the crunch berry in that one mix, I don’t like it though lol. It has a weird taste.
My mixes that I like never seem to last very long. I had a couple steeping for 2 weeks. My problem is that as soon as something starts to taste good, I start vaping it.
