Well it seems we have defined the new Normal This was very similar to my story. As you make more and more recipes and discover you like some more than others it seems natural to develop oneās own Top Shelf. I have about 4 recipes in rotation ā¦and āAll Day Vapeā was maybe never intended to be the one single recipe you vaped eternally ā¦just one of several in your daily rotation.
To avoid Vaper Fatique (I canāt taste this?) the obvious advice is clearly changing it up, so this is absolutely normal ā¦conclusion: You guys are Strangely Normal
21 recipes in rotation at the moment: 3 tanks with dedicated juices and a rda with 9 different recipes in dripper bottles on my desk right now. I probably only vape 3 or 4 of the different 9 drippers on any given day. + I have a rda in the basement with 8 tester bottles and another 0mg mix (ry4 double + vanilla bourbon) in a tank on my desk that I used to vape on late at night but I havenāt been vaping that much lately.
I also have probably 15+ recipes in 100 - 200ml batches (and a 500ml frankenstein batch) steeping as well that are not currently in rotation.
Ry4 is the first recipe I worked on until I had what I wanted. After nothing but menthol for so long, never thought I would like a Ry4 type juice, but itās definitely one of my ADV. I use Ry4 Double & Vanilla Bourbon also. Itās heavy on Caramel & Vanilla. I use Vanilla for Pipe (INW) in it too.
thats what i love about diy the ability to have multiple tanks filled with good juice and the oppurtunity to taste and try things you wouldnt bc you didnt want to risk 25 bucks and hating it
When I started mixing, all my flavors were single 10% mixes and nothing more. Now I have about 25 good consistent recipes I rotate through. And those were even before I discovered ELR. Now, my personal recipe list is around 50. Love me some DIY and ELR
Almost the same I smoked for 20 years, tried sub-ohm in April 2016 and was hooked ever since. - tried cig-a-likes and couldnāt stick to your them, but sub-ohm flavors are awesome!
Within a week after I started I got vape tongue / flavor blocked and got a second device to vary flavors throughout the day (Kanger sub-Vods)Then I got more Mods and more tanks - chasing that āperfect flavorā mod/tank combo.
Spent a lot of time trying different RDAās with SS, titanium and all designs of coils I could buy off of e-bay. At the most I had three devices/tanks but now Iām back down to two (smoke big baby beast and baby beast ) because coils get expensive and this allows me to use one type of coil - X4 - for both tanks.
I use the baby beast on a istick pico when I travel for work (often) and then a big baby beast on a Lost Vape Triade for home. Both work great all-day and constantly swap between flavors - I actually donāt fill up the tanks all the way to swap more often and (as others above) try to use juices that taste good together.
I am exactly like youā¦except for the Kool Filer Kingsā¦probably some other stuff too, but you get my drift Iām sure.
I quit smoking about 18 months ago, have been mixing for about a year and own several devices/tanks/RDAs that I rotate on an almost daily basis. I carry 3 devices with me to work and when I travel I tend to bring about 5 devices, each with their own flavor. I love Kreedās Kustard, but I get vape tongue really easily so I change flavors all the time.
So, in my personal experience, youāre doing everything absolutely perfectly. Keep up the good work. I wouldnāt change a thing.

I converted a room in the house to my Vape room & my 21 yr. old Grandson came in the other day and said, good lord Pap, Iāve been in Vape Shops that didnāt have this much stuff. I really doubt that, but it has been a life saver for my Wife & I (literally) and a BUNCH of fun !
May be Iām the strange one I vape the same juice until
itās gone then I re-build and try a different one that I mixed I will not use the same build/wicks on a different mix I would love to have like 3 or 4 more RDTAs for the variety. ADV juices are boring to me by like noon Iām over that flavor
If you are oddā¦Iām insane lmao I have 4 evod single and 3 eleaf istick 30w on the go every dayā¦that being said I have 6 different flavors on the go all day every dayā¦at least we donāt stink like an ash tray lol cheers
Itās a great insanity! Iāve been Vaping 14 months now and Iām still apologising for smelling like an ashtray Ass all those years. I didnāt realize. Hahaha
Everything in the world is strange. We are all fucking odd in some sort of way. Yes even you @Volition are all odd in some way shape or form. That is why we get on here. We want to know we are not alone in this fucked up planet. If we were all perfect, then life would be fucking boring. Heāll I know for a fact that @TheTinMan1 is a complete fucking nutball. But that is why he is a good friend. We all need to laugh and get by is this life that we have.
I do the same thing. I look at it this way-Whatever keeps me from going back to smoking is alright in my book! My missus thinks itās a bit strange that I constantly keep at least three RTAās in rotation, but Iāve found that it really helps battling āFlavor Fatigueā. By constantly jumping from flavor to flavor, the taste buds donāt have an opportunity to acclimate to one flavor profile.
I generally have 3 or 4 similar flavors with me. Usually custards. I will use then in the same RDA and have done this for quite awhile now. I never vape just one.
