It warms my heart to hear this. Thank you for giving the little ones a chance. Butch, the adult cat I rescued had FIV. It took 10 months to find his forever home but he did and the couple who adopted him love him so much. It broke my heart that I couldn’t take him in and I choke up till this day thinking about him because we had a bond. But I know that he’s happy with his new parents.
Is this a mountain lion? I got hooked on a YouTube channel called Luna the Pantera. A leopard kitten was rescued by a couple and they raised her with their Rottweiler. Their channel shows them playing, taking walks, basically day to day life and activities living with a Rotter and a panther.
My Maine Coon (Autumn) I’m pretty sure is depressed about the loss of Buddah…That was a tough hour before we got him in the car to rush to the ER…Not sure how to help her. She’s been laying in strange spots in the house… I’ve been bringing her into my room every night, giving her lots of treats… Any ideas?
She’s missing her friend and going through her process. My dog did the same after my ex’s dog was put down. We let her have his blanket that he slept on and that seemed to help.
Ya know what’s weird is, his bed is still at the end of my bed and she used to lay on it when he wasn’t. Now she avoids it and there’s something in my bedroom doorway that she hops over…but there’s nothing there. Not trying to sound weird, but every time she leaves the room, she hops out. It’s just been an awful week, we are probably all just overwhelmed.
It’s definitely going to take time…it’ll be a week in less than an hour 
Not that strange, really. Animals senses are a lot keener than ours. Who knows what they’re sensing. When I was a teenager, we had a dog that had pups and we were overwhelmed with 5 pups and their mom, so we decided to give the pups away to friends and family. My mom took one of them to work for one of her friends. Fast forward a couple of years, and my mom’s friend came over and our dog went nuts over her. Sniffing and whining. We figured she was smelling the dog we gave her, so she came back a few days later with the dog this time, and it was the craziest thing I ever saw. Those dogs went nuts over each other. My dog slept near the front door for days until they came back for a play date. It was really amazing to see.
They are already looking healthier, both are lovely.
