Any close substitutions for Capella - Lemon Drop?

Hey ELR,

I saw a recent recipe from Wayne that I’d like to try, but I am missing Capella - Lemon Drop. Are there any close substitutions for it? I have so many “good” lemons that I don’t really think buying another is necessary.

The recipe calls for 1.5% Cap LD.

[Lemonade (LA)]
[Lemonade (Natural) (FW)]
[Lemonade (VTA)]
[Lemonade Clear (VTA)]
[Lemonade Raw (VSO)]

[Pink Lemonade (Cap)]

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if none of my flavors would be a good substitution, I’ll buy lemon drop. But it would be nice to get an idea of the recipe’s flavor before I do.

Hey @SessionDrummer, am I using FE at the same 1.5% as in the recipe for the Capella LD?

Funny you and @Lynda_Marie both said FE. Before your comments, I already mixed up a batch with FE at 1.0%, but it was lacking in the lemon department. It may very well be that this extra 0.5% will fix that.

@IggyZ, I don’t know all of the flavors in your mix, and I did test the CAP @4%, and the FE @ 3%. At 1.0%, it could be getting buried in the mix.
