Anyone Wordle

I have noted that if I do the Wordle later in the day, my score is slightly lower: I just assumed it was the weight of noticing how mental the world is weighing upon me.

Same here (spelled hear before I checked :weary:). Apparently my mind is sharper when Iā€™m still stoned from the night before and half asleep.

The Dutch ones are always the hardest. You have a 5 and a 6 letter variant. I can get my head around the 5 letter words. I just start with arena, works in both languages.

With the 6 letter variant I just draw a blank. I canā€™t even come up with a single 6 letter word in Dutch.
Today it was a nightmare. The only words popping into my head were English.
Itā€™s ridiculous, Iā€™m Dutch.

Oh Iā€™ve always avoided the Randy Scandi tongues: far too many tenses to have without using time travel.

I just rely on Sandi for my regional updates:

I remember this one
During the lockdowns I binged on Nordic Noir on Netflix. They are pretty good at that. Maybe because itā€™s dark there most of the time

I picked up quite a lot of the language. Swedish, Danish, Icelandic and Norwegian have quite a lot in common and contain a lot of German, Dutch and English.
Particularly the Northern English dialect.

The only language I couldnā€™t make any sense of at all was Finnish. I canā€™t even hear when one word ends and the next one begins.
Itā€™s complete gibberish to me.

Oh I gave up after only hearing Finnish spoken once. I tend to my 60ish variants of English, Latin, Ancient Greek and Mandarin.

I am a bit of a QI nut. My friends stare at me when I get a trick question right around a 13thC text.

I picked up quite a lot on that show myself. Iā€™ve got the books on my reader.

How many editions are they into on the books? The number of moons the Earth has changes most series.

Iā€™m too tired to count.
Take a look.

I didnā€™t realise they had gone this far already. Iā€™ve been too ill to notice much in the past two years, but Iā€™m sure they didnā€™t add all of this in a lousy two years.

Maybe it is a hint for you to support the Ukraine. Or, find a way to make sunflowers vomit.

Iā€™d rather go back to bed. Since there is a little sunshine to be seen, itā€™s probably a hint to get my lazy arse in gear and drag myself to the park with the dog.

Maybe I can get a sunflower to vomit on the way. Although I think itā€™s the wrong time of the year for sunflowers. Do you think I could get a sunflower seed to vomit?

Thanks btw, mentioning Ukraine made me :face_vomiting:
Now I need more coffee.

Well, if you need a rest, then go for it. I must admit that the winter months can be irksome (two potent meds get me through it).

I will ponder seed based vomiting. Obviously shitting seeds is a more common process.

It certainly is. Coffee beans shat out by monkeys is supposed to be one of the best brews you can get.
Or so they say :coffee:

Enlighten me please?

Civet and elephant coffee being the commercial ones. Personally, they are not that impressive. Although, TPAā€™s Kona is a potent condiment in tobacco vapes.

I start the day with Sertraline and Mirtazapine before bed. Additional ones are ordered based on season and events.

I will have to look that up. Iā€™m blessed with a dog whoā€™s as lazy as I am. We share a birthday.
She only wants to go out once a day. When I got up early during the lockdowns to beat the crowd to the park, sheā€™d look at me like Iā€™d gone mad.
Itā€™s almost 3 in the afternoon. Thereā€™s a limit

Then you have a good companion. This mix was agreed as a way to keep me completely functional but without the irksome mania and suicidal tendencies.

Generally, itā€™s been a rather successful model. Although, I have booked in a meeting to adjust all.
