Totally unrelated, but does anyone know how to use this. My daughter is supposed to use it to hang up a lamp. How?

I got your back @Josephine_van_Rijn. It’s a Toggle Bolt with a hook on the end. You fold the two spring loaded halves around the bolt, cut a hole JUST big enough to squeeze that in, then they expand back and you tighten the bolt.

Apparently not. I’ve never been involved in a controversy in the almost 8 years I’ve visited and commented on this forum.
Someone once told me that I said the most terrible things to people, but because there’s no malice behind it they never take offence.

Maybe it’s my innate capacity to see set-ups for dark humour.

People usually don’t take offence.
I tend to combine my honesty with humour, not malice.
Mind you, I just remember I did get a rant in my email from some guy on this forum that I’ve never heard of before.
I was very ill at the time and hadn’t been around on the forum. It was very ugly and I hadn’t even said anything, just posted a video.
When I clicked on it the post had already been removed. Apparently it had been flagged.
It was a reaction to the video I posted of Marc van Ranst, where he is bragging how he fooled the Belgium population into taking the Mexican flu shots.
They are laughing their arses off during that story.
Now they call it a conspiracy theory and say it has been taken out of context.
I have watched and posted the entire video, which has been removed from Youtube.
There was nothing taken out of context.
