hey there all , i’m new to the world of DIY e-liquids and recently i just bought my first flavouring which is BerryCheesecake by Flavorah
can anybody help please with the ratios between PG VG and the flavouring?pleaseeeeeee
cause i have try by myself and cant find the right ratios for this single flavour e-juice
If you are not sensitive to pg and like a little throat hit, 60-70% VG IMHO. As for flavor, go to the ELR calculator and click on any flavor. The Singles % can be unreliable, so I’d use “in mixes” and maybe bump that up by 20%…so if it’s typically used at 1% as most Flavorah tend to be, use 1.2%. Flavorah are extremely strong flavors.
Berry Cheesecake FLV has only been used 6x, but the average is 2.4%, the median is 1.8%. In this case I would mix at 2.4. Less pg is a smoother vape, but mutes flavors. High VG works well for creams and custards, but I still prefer at least 30%pg personally as I’m a flavor chaser.
As @Flavor_Alchemist mentions above, your gear makes a difference. The above is just general starting info. If you are just quitting smoking, expect to cough a few weeks. However, breathing typically improves afterward, but vaping still inflames the lungs more than air.
I’ve tried the recipe at 60 pg and 40 vg and i think i’m not satisfied by the result
I mixed in 20 ml bottle and using 20 % FLV BERRY CHEESECAKE and still i’m not satisfied by the result cause i think it lacks of something
Does anybody here tried flavorah berry cheesecake as a single flavour recipe ?
Maybe the single recipe doesnt work for me and i’ve to consider mixing in multiple flavoring but in indonesia the flavor is still rare and sell at high price
How long has your juice been made?
Berry Cheesecake (FLV) needs to age for at least 3-4 weeks.
Also, I would mix up several different bottles, with different percentages in each.
I would mix a 5% batch, a 10% batch, and a 15% batch. I, too, think 20% is too high.
With those parameters I am guessing that you are too high in your flavor percentage…it is quite probable that you’re over-flavoring at 20% and that this is muting the flavor… I mix FLV flavors as single flavors alot…I use 40/60 PG/VG…I vape on mini tanks at around .6ohms to 1.1 ohms…I have the same mod that you do…If I were you, I would do a mix at 40pg/60vg at 8% flavor…and let it steep (set) per @ozo before vaping it
Thanks for that, I didn’t know that you can over-drive and mute. I overdrive raspberry inw and it adds a whole new dimension. Ylang too…so good to know that there is a too much…although I’d puke on something with 20% total flavor.
I just read the old MTL thread and remember you saying you upped % over subohm too. Interesting info all.
