Yep, down near Mt Gambier.
I really don’t want to see the rest of Aus having to deal with Vaping laws like ours, hence the advocacy…
Never been so involved in politics in all my life!

Cool, Mannum here…
Yeah, I hear you. Pretty sure all the states will be the eventually try to go the same way. Nothing is about the people they serve from my experience, the occasional will support us but the majority are in it for themselves.
All the more reason for all vapers to fight for what we believe in
To be honest to this day if I see a cop car whilst driving I quickly drop my mod into my lap. There is no need I know but it probably stems from ages ago when I was pulled over suspected of using my mobile. I was actually vaping using an MVP2 and luckily could prove that I hadn’t used my phone in over an hour.
If I see a cop I tend not to vape in front of him/ her.
This BS isn’t going away and all vapers need to stand up now.
I live in WA and we have what I believe is a unique but rediculous law.
As I understand it no vendors can sell a ‘vaping kit’ which means they can’t sell a mod and tank together. A choice has to be made to sell one or the other. I notice a few do which makes me question the validity in that.
Nothing compared to SA and I truly feel for your situation. I’m actually surprised WA hasn’t followed your state yet but I’m sure there’s more crap in the pipeline.
I can only hope that some sanity is in the future but as taxes are being lost I doubt it anytime soon.
Me too Gazza!
I don’t want to get done for “driving while distracted”.
We went to Broome August last year & I was a bit paranoid to take our Vapes & juice given the fine in WA is high but we had scripts for the juice.
It was all good tho, no one batted an eyelid at our gear in SA or WA airports. And there were other vapers around too at the airports - in the Smoking areas of course
Same here, have to keep up the pressure!!
… and that my friend is why they want the ban on nicotine. Sometimes the obvious reason turns out to be the truth. Cheers from a fellow West Aussie…
Yep, and he drinks what used to be my fav beer when I was a drunk… lol
So far it looks like nothing has really changed but we need to fight this prescription based model as hard as we can as soon as I find the place to lodge submissions I will not only write one but post the link here.
Submissions can be made
https://consultations.health.gov.au/tga/copy-of-copy-of-copy-of-consultation-proposed-amen/
I started reading through the interim decision and taking notes for my submission today.
I got demotivated and apathetic about half way through. It really looks like this is a done deal, they’ve got it wrapped up pretty tight.
Maybe tomorrow it’ll look a little better?
I thought exactly the same, it’s going to take something big to bring it back our way.
Me too, hopefully Athra & Legalise Vaping will post some ideas on how to best tackle this for a better outcome.
It’s hard not too! I’m doing to give it a few days
Yer @laurie9300 it does look like a done deal - that slippery Hunt has sewn it up pretty tight and as it is bureaucrats doing his bidding unless there is a massive groundswell in submissions and Hunt loses health in the reshuffle due Oct things are looking a bit bleak - I will, however, fight on as I hope you all will
Strange Days - I never thought I would agree 100% with Alan Jones but in this case I do.

Signed the petition for myself and also from my family… so 6 signatures all up! Hope it helps!! We’re currently at 40,643 signatures!
