Make sure to give it a good clean before use, I believe @wvsanta has the same one and he had to clean the hell out of it.
You’ll love the v5. Awsome bit of kit. :ok_hand:

Yep it was me.
I ended up giving mine a bath in carburetor cleaner after 2 failed attempts with PGA

I was looking at the kayfun v5. How is the airflow on that ? If it’s mouth to long it’s not for me

Not really a MTL tank but a nice slightly restricted DL 3mm air tube if that helps.

Yes that helps a lot Thank you

I find it alittle more restrictive the direct lung. Less airflow than a crown v1.

I agree with @Chrispdx on the air flow. A restricted direct to lung but an open mouth to lung, even on the lowest setting, hence the reason for the restrictors.
With the restrictors in this rta is perfect for mtl, just choose which one suits you best for your style of vaping.

Compared to a griffin 25 is kayfun v5 about the same or more restricted on wide open the griffin is what I do now
It is hard for me to go back to my kanger plus now because I
Feel like I am having to suck way too hard

The griffin has far more airflow than the kv5 even with the v5 fully open it’s alot tighter than the griffin.

Wow
I had watched Pbasardo video and the way he described it was it was so wide open it was not even close to the old kayfun made me think was like the griffin
I guess I will know in couple of days how I like it

Yup. That was my thought kinda.

Now that I have one in my hands for the last week or so. Welp. Let’s see if my grammar will be ok :cactus:

The chimney diameter is much smaller. Like its the size of a straw. This does reatrict the airflow. This is nothing like what the reviewers call “wide open” except when you say a wide open MTL.

Actually I did a test just now. The airflow is like a normal household straw…not a McDonald’s wide straw but the skinny ones.

The chamber is smaller…which helps to give better flavor. This does change how you build coils and is something I am still playing with to get the best result (I am very picky).

I am sure I can make it work like you I want it perfect
I like rich thick clouds really thick and flavorful
Seems the higher the Watson the thinner sometimes
My griffin 25 I run at 45 to 50 watts .45 ohms
