so while working on a recipe i used another as a reference, i should have put it private,anyway whats up with the self proclaimed recipe police, trashing people and putting bad reviews on a recipe they have not even tried? my page is my page, even if public, it is mine, if you don’t like what i am working on, work on your own shit!!!
bottom line, people use others recipes as guides to help them learn and come up with ideas, if you dont like it, don’t bash others for learning, grow up and get a life.
as far as that goes, i dare you to mix up the 3 recipes i do have on my PERSONAL page, then judge me and leave feedback.
Some people are just dbags. Personally i take it as a great compliment when someone adapts one of my recipes.
If you have an issue with people 1 staring recipes, usually fanbois, bring it to @daath or @JoJo’s attention.

Well, it’s pretty simple to me, that’s just what happens on social media these days.
Just like people that create worms, trojans, etc. just to screw with others, they just
try to bring others down to the stink level, see who they can irritate, and if you don’t ignore
them, in some way they win. Most don’t have a worthwhile life, and they aren’t very good at
playing ‘socially’ on the internet. The more response they get, the more they laugh.
Just don’t feed them.
I think there is a super long thread on this topic. Can’t link back since I’m on my phone. But anyways that is the one problem I run into regarding posting adaptations.
I think the main recommendation is to give credit where credit is due. I am personally adapted 3-4 recipies from @Amy2 (and many others) because I love her take on floral flavors. I will post them eventually because mine are missing stuff and have stuff added, but I feel the credit is due because I would not have gotten there without it. Hope that makes sense (recipie will link back to the original)
However on the topic of floral, one that I will be posting under my own name what designed based on a candel recipie. I know it sounds weird, but it was good. But I would not be surprised someone else has a recipie close because I’m sure someone has tried to it and may be posted somewhere using the same concepts.
Its the uni milk clone that was posted, i didnt have all the ingredients, so i adapted it, buthurt runs deep i guess, i guess some like it deep in the but. anyway however, it is the breast milk, yes, down a bit, i think its comical really. credit for what? i tell ya one thing, when we all stand up as a country and take the shit back, then credit will be given, for being a revolutionary, i will not give credit for buthurts.
so many recipes can be close enough to others to be claimes as someones. i make some really good shit. if you want it kept secret, dont put it on the interweb. my best recipes never see the internet. nuff said.

seems like every time I am in a thread where the uni milk is even mentioned, the vibe gets nasty. Feels weird given this site generally has such a laid back attitude.
Adapt away I’m with @Ken_O_Where on this one it’s a form of flattery. You said exactly what I’d do as well give credit to where your inspirations came from.
Btw there has been a many recipes that I’ve adapted from candle recipes so nope I don’t think it’s crazy at all. It is the common scents and fragrances that blend beautifully very similar to what we’re doing here ! I’ll be looking forward to your creations ! Now I’m curious as to which floral your using ! Let me guess cherry blossom ?

Sort of those would be flora which is plant derived and yes to the Jasmine of course floral. Oh I am excited to see what you’ve come up with. I just mixed with Zen gardens yesterday and hope it to turns out good.
