Thats what i wanted but havent fiubd any in stick anywhere. I dont think they are made anymore
Damn i hope your wrong
I mean i have no idea but they have been out of stock for a while.
I did just find some on ebay though
I have the Xtar Dragon VP4Plus and the Opus 3100. Both continue to work well after 4 years or so. They both do the same things but Iāll tell you the only minusā that Iāve found:
Xtar will revive batteries and refresh them (as much as possible), but the Xtar has on a couple of occasions, failed to acknowledge a battery in the bay while attempting to refresh, where the Opus has picked it up right away.
The Opus works every time, BUT, I did have to replace the fan on it twice. When they start to fail itās noisy and annoying as hell. Itās been two years since I replaced the fan and have had no issues at all. Iām glad to hear that itās been updated.
Oh, both are plugged into an AC outlet 24/7.
I was also looking at the dragon. I decided to try out the miboxer. Great price for a full featured 8 bay
I use the intellicharger i8. It fits up to 21700 x 8. I had a 4 bay of an older model but the Nicores have worked well for me. I donāt need anything fancy and they are decently priced.
I ended up getting the Miboxer yesterday from Amazon and already got it. I really love it so far. I love that you can adjust the charge current in .2 increments from .2A all the way up to 3A. Im probably gonna charge at . 6A or .8A as a happy median between what i usually charge at either .5 or 1A. I like that is keeps in in memory too so i can just throw the cells on there and not need to set it each time. Also shows the internal resistance and mah as well as percentage. Have zero complaints so far.
Got the four bay. It charges at 1 amp. When it gets towards the end it automatically reduces the the amps down to. 0.4/0.5 amps.
I have this bad boy for several years now, and it still works like a charm. The Gyrfalcon All-88, decent room for 21700 batteries.
@Martin48 thatās a nice looking charger. Do you have to manually set the voltage and charging current every time you put a cell in ??
I bought an efest luc v6, it works great other than the bottom contacts keep bending down and not charging so they have to be bent back up. Iām just waiting until it breaks to find another charger. We keep it unplugged when not charging, I believe it has overcharge protection but Iām not sure.
Only when I unplug it or a damn power outrage, except of that, if I set it to .1 v.a. is stayed there plus it detects the voltage. Iām very please with this charger and the multiple function. It can charge any Ni.Mh, Li.IOn.
I spent alot of time reading about chargers on budget light forum and
https://lygte-info.dk/
The vapcell s4 plus the miiboxer and the Opus chargers seemed to the 3 most recommended
I got the Vapcell myself
Thank you.
Iām still using my Opus BT-C3100, and it is still working great after about 3 years. I blow out the fan about every 30-60 days with compressed air. It stays quieter than I expected.
been using this great charger no more ripped 21700
Thatās a great tip @Cary1. I had some noise coming from my OG fan, and replaced it with a better bearing unit, and still quiet, but I think Iāll start blowing it out.
Gotta say that blowing out the accumulated dust really does make a difference.
