Idk know what else they can do to make mod designs truly unique except for adding themes or genres. I have seen some unique shapes on high end mods but pricing was beyond my budget. At this point, I’m happy to have a mod with features that I consider convenient and sturdy.

I just want them to add a second 21700 to everything lmao

I definitely go with that. I bring 3-4 mods to work with me where they sit in the cupholders and get jostled around. Here’s an old Cold Steel with the finish wearing off. The buttons now match the atty, lol. The tube is solid brass. Looks like hell but works like new.

I dig it.
It falls into the “greater than the sum of the parts” category. The proportions are right. The feel is right. The looks are right - strong lightsaber vibes going on. The buttons are right - down to the ever-so-slightly textured button faces. The screen is right - it’s crisp, clear, the right size. It shows me what I need and none of what I don’t. It stays on just the right amount of time. The physical power switch is right, and it powers up super fast.

It’s quite a bit lighter than it looks like it should be.
In-hand it’s way less substantial than a Yihi SX SL v2, which is what I had out to compare it to. They look like they should feel the same. They do not.
I’m not sure if this is a pro or a con. Definitely less pull in the pocket. But it’s riding the line of feeling “cheap”. To me it feels like it was designed to be made from stainless steel, but somewhere along the way a decision was made to use something else. Feels like a zinc alloy to me. I’m sure it’s robust, but when you tap it with a fingernail it responds with that “tink” that sounds like it should be just a touch thicker. With a Blaze Solo 2 on top it feels slightly top heavy in the hand.
Minor thing, but I do notice it.
For the price it seems to be an excellent little mod.

Completely agreed @2whiskymike.

I kind of reminded me of my early vaping days with my Provari.

I felt it was heavier than it looked !!! You may be right. Let me finish up this coding project, and I’ll put both on the scale to see.

Aluminum and Zinc.

That silver on silver looks like I’m going to need that combo.

Derp! If would have more carefully read your OP I would have seen the Aluminum and Zinc right there. Look at you and your details :100:

Ha! now you got me second guessing myself. I never read the weights on these things because it’s meaningless by itself and the shape totally changes perception.

Now, I’m not coding, and have these three right here, so I threw them on a scale (sans batteries).

Rayden<Yihi<Thelema

The Yihi has a fat belly and the Thelema is just a dense chonker. Which kind of surprises me because the Rayden does indeed feel like it would stand up to the most abuse out of the three.

The more I handle it the more it’s (lack of) weight feels like a good thing. Doing it in actual stainless would have made it too heavy to want to grab and pocket on the regular.

I usually just grab black but I knew the SS RTA was going on it. It does look pretty boss. Even better IRL.
