Awesome, Iā€™m so glad you made bro!!

I agree, a decent RTA would be the way to go. Do you live in Croatia then? I went to college with a couple of people from Croatia and I totally loved them!! Very tough people.

Anywho, there are 2 ways to vape Mouth to Lung (MTL) like a cigarette and Direct Lung (DL) like joint but with lots more vapor. Iā€™m pretty sure the vaporfi rebel is when the industry was being introduced to sub-ohm vaping which is usually DL.

hopefully, we can get you both types of RTAā€™s so that you can get the full experience. A pod system would work for the MTL too.

Yep Dan. Living in Croatia makes a man tough, and such are our Slavic genes

It seems mine is DL cuz when I try MTL I start coughing. Im ok with this one, i have never try something else. Its my first one, only one and best one :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

@ShadowApe Glad you joined us. And a BIG congrats on deciding to quit or cut back on smoking. Quitting smoking (just celebrated 8 years on Sept 30th) was one of the best decisions Iā€™ve made. Vaping made it possible. Now it is a hobby and I still fully enjoy every part of it. Hope you find the gear and juices that will make vaping a sufficient substitute for vaping.

Thanks Cary1 :grinning:

I have to change something because this much smoking doesnā€™t make sense. After 1 week of vaping im smoking 50% less stinky ones. My will is strong and ill go step by step to the goal.

Congratulations dude
Thats awesome. Did you quit smoking suddenly or did you gradually reduce it?

@ShadowApe I consider myself lucky and am grateful because on the day I got my first vape kit I smoked and vaped that day. I had one cigarette left over and smoked it the following day (September 30th, 2013). That was the last cigarette Iā€™ve smoked. The first week of only vaping was a challenge, but it got easier pretty quickly. I went into vaping committed to quitting smoking. I got involved with ecigarette forum (ECF) and got LOTS of encouragement with no judgement. That is where I learned ā€œcount the ones you DON"T smokeā€. I truly have no idea how I was able to quit cigarettes the day after I started vaping, but am glad it worked out that way. I smoked about a pack and a half a day for many years. Started vaping at 18mg and over the first 3 or 4 years dropped back slowly to 3mg which is where Iā€™ve been at for 4 or 5 years. I believe when the time is right for someone, they will quit. And no one knows that time but the person themself. Stay positive, stay motivated and acknowledge your progress. Find some ways to reward yourself for making progress on quitting. Wishing you continued success on your path to being cigarette free.

Thank you very much for your support. It really means a lot to me at the moment :slightly_smiling_face:

Im chewing gum, biting nails, sucking some candies, vaping like old train. Its not easy but i can do it

I will reward myself with buying some juice instead of buying cigarettes.
Thank you all ELR familyšŸ˜‰

A sensible idea. The first few months can be bloody annoying but chain vaping got a lot of us here through it.

One thing I forgot. Vape before the craving hits. It takes longer for the nic in vape to hit the pleasure center of your brain than from smoking. Nic from smoking hits your brain in a minute or less. Nic from vaping may take up to 4 to 5 minutes to hit that same pleasure center. Drink lots of waterā€¦LOTS of water.
Great idea to reward yourself with some juiceā€¦or some flavors to experiment with if you are DIYā€™ing.

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever properly introduced myself.

So, I am Laurence: the maelstrom which is Law, English and Theology filtered through a few world events - with some extra into to the mix (I was in Riyadh, Dubai and Sri Lanka for their bombings, along with Hangzhou for Covid). My bread and butter, due to Covid, is advising on academic English. Though do love taking on the odd Fortean PhD on esoteric matters. (i.e. This week, was one on memory encoding under stress, which peaked my interest).

Obviously I do take on the occasional oddball case due to my welcoming natural and non-judgemental approach to all - as I am prone to telling poltergeists to behave and STFU rather than being shocked.

As a blender, I am a deranged wizard (though a preacher/reader in many churches- donā€™t challenge me on Biblical matters) who jumps into mad ideas and request. And, one who shares his creative process.

PS: I wonā€™t fix the minor errors - it is my day off from grammar.

So I exist on a principle of things happen and then work from that.

Unfortunately i had some issues at the beginning. I bought a nicotine base through a web shop. I got a spoiled, oxidized liquid that I struggled with for a week. After that suffering, these 0mg of nicotine fit me perfectly.

Thank you so much for the tips. I appreciate it. As a beginner, any advice is welcome
