I know this is a DIY recipe site/forum, but recently I’ve seen a few posts about commercial juice. I got into DIY 2 years ago, and I haven’t bought a commercial juice since, but recently I’ve noticed myself browsing. Even if it is just for inspiration.
So my question to you all is, what’s your favorite commercial juice? I’d like to hear from everyone. So if you occasionally enjoy a commercial juice, please let me know which ones they are. Of course, long fills and one-shots are also acceptable, as we all have different needs/wants.
Really looking forward to hearing everyone’s replies.
My go-to juices were Wicked Berry - Paradigm and Subzero - Halo.
Halo is way to expensive to buy so I’ve created my own mix for that. The Wicked Berry I haven’t replicated but created my own berry juice that works. I reached out to Paradigm for their recipe since it’s unavailable now but they never replied back…I haven’t bought commercial juice in years.
I have 2 favourites which I use more often than diy if I am honest! IVG Vanilla Biscuit and also Element Vanilla. Both are quite difficult to get in stock nowadays and so hence my stockpile of both!! Never even seen Element liquids in any shops over here in Uk. Vape Club import them from America. It’s going to be interesting reading what everyone likes
I’ve basically given up on the current commercial offerings at least the 60-120ml premixed stuff. There is one that I would buy if it was still available. Humble Vape Lemon Cake was discontinued many years ago. I’ve gotten very close to cloning the original though you can never get % accuracy. I’ve emailed with the company about bringing it back and I believe that one of the original flavors is not avail anymore. They have stated that they have tried but one of the original flavors isn’t available any longer. I personally believe RF Lemon Cake was a main ingredient because that eliquid was discontinued right about the same time that RF closed down before being bought by DIYejuice. I’ve had both the original Lemon Cake from Real Flavors and what’s available now and the current version isn’t close. The original from RF is very close to the original flavor of Humble Lemon Cake. So for me if the original was still available I’d definitely buy it again.
There’s so many good lemon cake offerings. But to this day the first one I bought is still my favorite. INW Lemon Cake. SSA Lemon Pound Cake is also really good, but I definitely prefer the lemon in the INW. Do you mind linking your clone recipe?
Here’s my DLLT from a year or so ago. IMO, it’s really good, and checked all the boxes for me and a few others, but my wife swears that the original smells more like cake. I was thinking to use some yellow cake or homemade pound cake as the crust, but haven’t tried to yet.
And in terms of lemon bakery vapes, dinner lady lemon tart is still my fav. I haven’t bought it in ages, but that was the one I purchased most way back when. Their newish line of tobaccos interests me, but unfortunately I haven’t found them 0 Nic in Germany. 3mg is way too strong for me nowadays. I’m vaping 0.3mg/ml DL and 0.5 MTL.
Nope. I haven’t tried anything new except for DIY in 2 years. And the only liquids I tried before DIY were Dinner Lady Lemon Tart, Dinner Lady Watermelon Slices, and a couple of watermelon liquids from the German company SC. Shortly after trying those, I got into DIY.
I thought to myself, “how hard could it be to make a simple watermelon mix?” Turns out, 27 watermelon aromas and probably close to 150 WM mixes later, I still haven’t made what I think to be a perfect watermelon. Not from my own creations, or those of others.
Not at all this is a copy of my clone. I can’t make it because it needs the OG Real Flavors Lemon Cake. And yes I’ve tried the INW (the Lemon was to astringent and wouldn’t steep out) and SSA Lemon Cake I’ve bought it twice once direct from SSA and from BC. It starts out fine but after a few days I start getting Anise (Black licorice) from the lemon. I get the same anise from FE Lemon.
21 day steep
The original Humble Lemon Cake probably had RF Lemon Cake up around 10% because it was almost a one shot all by itself. I only got to try the original RF LC by 5 finger discount from my friend he wouldn’t part with any. I only got 3ml and that didn’t last long.
What did you use it at? It’s really dang strong. I think around 1% is enough when using another lemon and cake.
Now re: the SSA, anise, really??? I definitely don’t get any of that. I get a bit of a browned or baked note, lemon, and pound cake. Doesn’t change much with a steep either. Used at 1.5-2%
I haven’t bought commercial in years. My favorites were definitely sadboy punchberry ice and rainbow blood ice. They are way too sweet, but had an amazing punch of flavor. I could actually take the juice and cut it 50% and it would still be full of flavor.
