Best method to 'Save For Later'

k well your all obviously more computer literate than i am!! lol so i used the create recipe function, marked private and placed the recipe there. Same as writing it down in my book (little more time) is there an easier, less time consuming, possibly copy and paste option? Thx

Just click the blue wrench and click ā€œAdapt thisā€. If you want to leave it the way it is, it will automatically adjust your nic and PG/VG recipes the way you have your defaults set up (I think). Then, just click save.

thanks JoJo, worked perfectly!!!

I do it the way @daath suggested and I use the notes section once I make the juice to record my thoughts and keep track of any changes I make to the original recipe. This keeps it on my page even if the original recipe gets set to private or deleted which happened to me before I started doing it this way. After playing with the recipe if I end up not liking it then I just delete it.

How about for the Windows phone?.. I tried a few apps/sites for this, just for school and not recipes. Couldn’t find ANYTHING for this phone

And you already know me, if we could somehow make our own folders or something like it. I don’t want to delete my recipes since I don’t want to repeat anything I’ve tried before, but they are starting to add up haha. Not sure how that’s possible unless we can create a new recipe list like posting a new topic, and opposed to General or Hardware have like tobacco or drinks. At home in going through to try and get all these organized, a ton of desserts and ton of desserts w fruit haha really loving the Blueberry Cheesecake combos!

Microsoft OneNote is pretty good

Hold on - Folders are coming!

When you talk about folders how are you envisioning the database handling them? Would each recipe need a separate copy in each folder you wanted it in? Or are you thinking of something more like tags/labels that just add metadata to the item? Tags would allow the same item to be reused in multiple ā€œfoldersā€ with just one physical copy. Also seems like searching on it would be easier since users could have many tags to find a single item from in queries. To simplify are you looking at a one to one, one to many, or many to many relationship model?

Just a question out of curiosity.

More like tags, yes. A many-to-many relationship between a label and a recipe
