Have you played with tart flavors, like citrus? I think hops and citrus go together. Or a raspberry, but a tart one, not a sweet one. Or maybe ginger?

I JUST got my first big DIY order in last week. I had to cover all the beakers and syringes and a jug of VG, PG, NIC and on and on. You know the drill. I was only able to get about 20 of what I assumed would be good ābaseā flavors. Got my vanillas and creams, strawberries, caramels, tobaccosā¦bold and Ry4, and other odds and ends out of the way. I think I bought way more of the 25-50-100-250mL Erlenmeyer and Volumetrix Bromex flasks than I needed, strictly speaking, as well as syringes and blunt tips but thatās OK. I am considering pre-mixing a bunch of ābaseā made up of my VG/PG and I have plenty of cool places to keep it. The Volumetrix just look cool with their little glass stopper-tops 
I wish NIC didnāt go bad so fast or I would pre-add that to the base as well and have a set solution to work with.
THIS order Iāll be putting in on the seventh is where I think I can afford to flesh out my stash a bit with things like ginger (exactlyā¦you get what Iām talking about) and nutmeg and I also am thinking about currant and a few othersā¦any more suggestions on whatās available? I also see things like anise and absinthe thatā¦damned if I know what anise tastes like and absinthe is black licorice I think. Anyway, I am open to any suggestions for sure.
I think all chem lab eq looks sweet, but I was a huge chem nerd in high school and first couple years of college.
You might be able add nic to your premix base. How much are you talking (both concentration and total size), and how long would it be sitting at room temp? Would it at least be in a dark place, like a cabinet?
Absinthe is a distilled spirit flavored with anise and fennel, so they are very similar flavors. You probably donāt need both unless youāre chasing a very specific result.
Yeah! What is it about lab equipment that looks so damned cool!?? I totally cleared my extra computer work bench in my room (I fix PCās) and set out everything I hadā¦beakers, wooden boxes with syringes etcā¦even all my devices and flavors . It took some convincing of my roomates I wasnāt starting a meth lab

I have pulled 200mLās of VG from the 3+L jug, and 50mLās PG as well. I keep them in a cabinet near my work space, along with 20mLās NIC (rest of the NIC is in the freezer). I was thinking maybe the PG and VG could act as a preservative if I go ahead and mix all three together at 80/20 VG/PG and 8mg NIC strength(I have 100mg/100% VG>120mL bottle) as I use that ratio combo in every recipe, for now anyway. I am afraid to go over 8mg NIC as I was told that for sub ohmāing that was as much as is safe. Safe is kind of a relative term thoughā¦
Anyway, I have plenty of room in my āCuring Cabinetā where I put my evil concoctions after I am done whipping them, so thatās set up as well.
For being my first time I feel pretty good about my set upā¦as well as having flavors coming in regularly. I an not happy with how much is going down the drain (literally) but that is just the way it is, I suppose. I researched my ass off before diving into this, but I guess there is no avoiding trial and error.
Thanks for the tip on anise. I donāt see myself looking for that black licorice flavor anytime soonā¦canāt stand it personally. I am learning about other flavors and their pitfalls the hard wayā¦cloves and Chai Tea being the first casualties. Thankfully I had the foresight to buy them in little 8mL testers from Wizard labs at like $1.75 or so each. I can get a bunch each payday at those rates, though. As I identify the flavors I like, iāll grab them in larger and larger sizes.

One last thing can you please create a Moisture additive that gives our juices the moisture it needs when certain flavors are harsh or dry.
At this time FA makes one to perceive the juice as balanced one that impart bitterness another that makes it mellow. MTS, Vape Wizard, Magic Mask
then the Ethyl Malto sweetner and the Vanillin and smooth ( triacetin ) TFA
Iād like to see an additive that imparts moisture softness Saline is still not worth it to me I wonāt go back down that road again as there is too much conflicting info regarding it in e juice. Distilled water well it waters down all your hard work. Just food for thought.

I only go out for a pint probably once every couple of months now but milk & honey goes well with my Guiness. Iām sorted. Lol!!!
yeah thatās the ticketā¦see thereās a beer here in the statesā¦Blue Moonā¦that has a hint of Orange Zest in itā¦barely noticeable. I was thinking of making some orange flavor based juice to accompany that. Then for the really malty beers I was thinking coffee or chocolate notesā¦and so on. They would need to be not sweet though Iām thinking. In factā¦your milk and honey is a bit of a surpriseā¦that goes well with Guiness?

i am guiltyā¦i was able to mix and review the 4 flavor sampler you sent me, but iāve been so busy, i never did get to mixing the larger sampler you sent me. alas, i must sadly confess, those flavors have gone on to be forgottenā¦
