Beta Testing New Flavors :D

One of the things pumpkin flavorings are missing is massive amounts of diacetyl. Gonna need lots of buttery notes.

Some good flavors, few out of my reach to test thoughā€¦ The teas sound good ill be interested in the feedback on them.
The raw extracts sound good but either way your flavors are reducing the use of pg which sounds good in my opinionā€¦
The raw extract is that one drop stuff missā€¦ @authormichellehughes the medicine flower potent stuffā€¦ So many options to mixā€¦ So little time to vape it allā€¦

Right? At this moment i am sitting on around 140 flavorings that i havent even tasted yet. I want to get through the RF stuff first as i bumped them up the list because of their quality.

Will you be extracting the flavour from the real thing i.e. fruit, caramel chocolate etc, like Medicine Flower to get the raw extract? Using the same sort of process as they do.

From their blurb (I am not a chemist) but this is their definition of an extract.

Technical Information:
Our flavors are obtained through a proprietary technology conducted at temperatures below 118 degrees F. This process comprises a multi-stage extraction encompassing initial desiccation, lyophilization, CO2 and HFC extraction.

We do NOT sell so-called ā€œNatural Flavorsā€ (also known as ā€œNatural Analogsā€) which are actually synthesized in a lab. All of our products are made from the material named on the label

Or are you adapting the exisiting line to be more concentrated (Super Concentrated Flavours) still using natural flavours in VG?

Thanks for any clarification as Medicine Flower are a favourite of mine and an alternative using the same process as them hopefully at a more competitive price, will be something I would be interested in.

Thank you so much! I loved the feedback!

Got both already  The pink lemonade should be out soon.

You and that Pumpkin ha!

Raw extracts are sourced from the fruit or what ever the ingredient comes from. They are SUPER expensive to make in the raw format and I believe only really Medicine Flower is selling them. We use them in our blends so I figured why not sell them too.

Word of caution. Currently they can only be sold in the US. If you order them overseas they may not be imported due to regulations.

Yes, while we do not use just those two methods of extraction, it is very close.

I never heard this term before. Very interesting lol. I am curious if any synthesizes natural flavorsā€¦ Seems like it would not be natural them.

We use the same extracts when making our VG based flavors. The process is a bit different but the extract is one of the ingredients.

I am working with my team on pricing as we speak. These need to be sold in a special bottle, labeled a right way, and processed out of our normal production cycle.

I should have an update soon for you.

@Walt_RealFlavors , this is a question that I have as well. Thanks for the lower prices!
I also have another question , I have been told using heat on Medicine Flower extracts will mute the flavoring strength.
Will your extracts react to heat the same way ? What would be your procedure for mixing with your extracts?
Thank you so much!

My samples came in today as well @Ken_O_Where .It will be later this weekend before I get to make test samples though.I am heading to Nashville for an Sounds baseball game if I can brave the low 30ā€™s weather.
I have seen people test anywhere from 3% all the way to 20%. I am thinking most should be used between 5% to 15% in the real world. How do the majority of people test unknown flavors?
Is it a good idea to mix each flavor at different percentages to get a better idea?

Got mine also! I had a leakage and lost most of the sweet potato one. I will be making these up today. Just smelling a few of them and if they taste like they smell they will be Awesome!

The plan for now is to do limited runs and keep a true stock already in the bottle ready to go.

The problem is that right now they will need to be done by hand just due to us not having the equipment to bottle these sizes. Also we normally do not carry a lot of these so it will be a bit limited.

Heat should be fine as long as you are not going over 60C. Even then it may break down a bit but should not be much.

I mixed them all at different %s according to taste and smell. I didnt write it in a notebook this time, i put it right on the bottles and then they went down stairs on the shelf. Ill ask the wife to grab a notepad and go down and write it all down, im unable to go up and down the stairs at the moment.

Was Fresh Bread for me, not too bad but enough. Love the new bottles and the little foam stand.

I mixed mine up at 8%. The oatmeal cookie smells good, taste awesome! The white chocolate makes me think of the white chocolate KitKats but it is a light taste. Changing cotton to test some more out. The baked bread scares me as I donā€™t like the smell of it. Also the Sweet Potato is fragrant and candy tasting and I donā€™t think it is anything like sweet potatoes. The Shortbread Cookie is very lemony I think with time it will be better. Gingerale has a gingersnap taste to me, it is far better tasting than I expected. The Baklavas and Baked bread are sitting. The Baklavas I couldnā€™t figure out. lol I am having a blast doing this Thanks for the chance to do this @Walt_RealFlavors. I will test again in 3 days and again in a week from now and update as needed.
Also was tested on a Mutation Xs to get max flavor and tested by my husband on a Mutation X v1.
