Sorry that happened to you. It’s happened to me several times, nothing to do with PP but my debit card was skimmed. Now I put my cards in protective sleeves or a lined wallet and before inserting in a CC reader I check for skimmers. My bank showed me what to look/feel for.

Paypal does strange things sometimes, but people still use it the most. There are much better payment systems that people use like Skrill. I have had it for a year now and I have managed to upgrade my account to Gold Vip and now I even use Skrill Kinect. It is a great system for their loyal users where you recieve points for all the transactions that you make. With those points you can later get various gifts and rewards. Not many people know this, but if you use baxity to register for Skrill you will not need to pay anything to be verified and instead of depositing 3000 euro to get Bronze VIP, you get it immediately. Skrill is really good and this is a good headstart for using it.
