District 21 Black Water

This is my review of District 21 Black Water by Five Pawns. I purchased this as a 0mg e-liquid so that I can accurately describe the flavor of the e-liquid without any interference from whatever type of nicotine that Five Pawns may be using.

Described as an authentic Sweet Cream Cannoli & Robust Black Coffee. It has a strikingly good flavor for a commercial e-liquid. And could easily be vaped as an ADV as it has a mild but full flavor along the lines of a 9-13% total flavor profile.

The first part of the name is described as a sweet cream and that it is. A smooth sweet cream similar to I’d say something like a mixture of FlavorArt Catalan Cream/Vienna Cream with a slight hint of vanilla, cinnamon and some brown sugar. It has a less than medium sweetness and a nice full mouthfeel which gives me the impression that something on the lines of a marshmallow could have been used to cover both the sweet and fullness.

Now as for being a cannoli well it almost pulls off the flavor of a cannoli. Kind of reminds me of using FA Joker as the cannoli shell is there but not very present. It is lacking any sort of distinct underlying cookie/bakery notes. Though with the cinnamon/bs side notes it does lead the tongue to believe that there may be some cannoli flavor in there.

As for the name defining this as a robust black coffee flavor, I only detected coffee when vaped as a low wattage MTL. When I did detect any significant flavor of coffee/espresso, it was very, very light.

All together it does make for an interesting e-liquid. And I would definitely recommend it if you like smooth creamy, not to sweet e-liquids without any weird off notes. My only wish is that there was more of a bakery presence in the form of more of a cannoli shell and definitely more of a coffee flavor. I’d give it 3.5 out of 5 stars because of the lack of cannoli shell and coffee
