Blaze Max Pro RTA – First Look & Preview!

Alright, folks, let’s talk about the Blaze Pro Max RTA from Thunderhead Creations. Before we dive in, I want to address something upfront—I originally wrote a fluffier version of this preview, but after some solid feedback from the community, I realized I was being lazy. That won’t happen again. These previews aren’t just about hype and sales (I’m not getting paid for them or my reviews). They’re here to start real conversations about the products we use.

Now, onto the Blaze Pro Max RTA. I used the original Blaze RTA, and I’ll be honest—I loved it. I personally tend to prefer bottom airflow because, in my experience, it delivers better flavor. But the original Blaze, despite being top airflow, surprised me in a big way. If the Blaze Pro Max is anything close to its predecessor, we might just have a solid contender on our hands.

What We Know So Far

:wrench: Top Airflow, Leak-Resistant Design – Just like the original Blaze RTA, this one features a top airflow system, which means fewer leaks and a different take on flavor delivery.

:wrench: Postless Build Deck – Designed to accommodate dual coils with ample room for creativity.

:wrench: Large Capacity & Top Fill – We’re looking at a spacious e-liquid reservoir with an easy top-fill system.

:wrench: Refined Airflow System – Thunderhead Creations claims improved airflow for better flavor and vapor production. We’ll see how it stacks up.

Who’s It For?

Whether you’re a cloud chaser, a flavor fiend, or someone looking for a high-performance RTA, the Blaze Max Pro aims to tick all the boxes.

Check out Old Goat Vape Lab for more updates.

What I’m Curious About

Flavor Performance – Top airflow usually means sacrificing a bit of flavor density. The first Blaze handled it well, so can the Pro Max do even better?

Build Quality – Thunderhead Creations generally delivers solid construction, but we’ll have to see if they’ve made any improvements.

Ease of Building – A postless deck can be fantastic or frustrating, depending on the execution.

Final Thoughts (For Now)

The Blaze Pro Max RTA has some strong points on paper, and if it lives up to the original Blaze RTA, we could be looking at another winner. But I won’t know for sure until I get my hands on it and put it through its paces. Expect a full, honest review once I’ve had time to build on it, vape it, and see if it truly delivers.

What do you think? Is this one on your radar, or are you waiting for the verdict before making a move?

MORE crap shilling. Wait till they send you one and do a Review. Not a Preview.

I get it, you’re excited for a real review. But previews exist so people know what’s coming. If you’d rather wait, no problem—I’ll be sure to drop my actual review when it arrives. Meanwhile, feel free to ignore my ‘crap shilling’ and enjoy the silence.

Then post your shit in the ‘Preview’ area. These are in the ‘Review’ area.

yea these should go into the “announcements” category

but it’s still kind of redundant, a pre-review? - kind of like an announcement before the announcement?

I can’t trust these reviews unfortunately (because I kind of like this goats style) but they feel like they are written by a salesman
instead of someone who is just part of the community and is giving their thoughts

they can be entertaining to read however

Oh no, the vape review police are here! :oncoming_police_car: Guess I’ll have to turn myself in for ‘Unauthorized Previews in the Review Area.’ Relax, bud—it’s just a post. If it upsets you that much, maybe take a deep breath… or a deep vape.

You may have a point regarding the announcements" category.
Glad you like my style.
I’m gonna be straight with you. These Previews are purely based on marketing materials sent to me by the manufacturer and do not reflect my opinion about the products at all. Read them with a massive helping of skepticism. I promise you, I write them with my skeptic cap firmly on.
When the review drops, it will be 98% my own opinion and 2% stepping on egg shells trying not to say something that will get me banned from ever doing a review again.

They are. He is a salesman. One can just feel the slime. Dude probably wears Polyester and has a used car salesman moustache.

@Old_Goat I’m sure the “socials” are different, but my experience has been that “shilling”, or even the perception of it is indeed a trigger on a lot of forums, including ELR.

Well this didn’t go as expected I guess lol every time I see a preview I’m always disappointed that it’s just that…a preview. Doesn’t trigger me, it’s just a disappointment :joy:

I have take the time to read and reflect on you comments and I came to realize that you are all right. This preview did come across as marketing fluff. I reacted badly to the first comments and I do apologize for that.

I have revisited the post and edited it in a way that reflects my views, not that of the marketing materials I was given. I will do the same for the other previews i did shortly.

I hope this makes up in a small way for my mistakes.

Dude you should MOVE them or DELETE them. After 10 years of this site being around ONLY YOU have posted PREVIEWS.

The 1st one, I took pity on you and the postal system screwup, but waking up yesterday to what, 3 or 4 previews all for the same company, was just wrong.

Dude, you’re still fine by me, life’s too short and I’m too old.

You don’t have to apologize or anything to me. I’m just always looking for reviews on gear if I’m wanting to buy something. I get excited when I get a notification.

You can post whatever you want (as long as it’s within the rules), I just clicked on it because it was in the Announcements category (which is reserved for ELR staff announcements), I see now it was moved here. Perhaps the Pub would be a better option

Dang, idk what all the push back is for. I started looking at it and just thought about buying one. :eyes:

I don’t see anything wrong with previews… If I didn’t want to look at it I just wouldn’t click on it.

if you browse the vendor category you will see thousands of these robot copy and paste previews. it’s very tiring to look at and that category is muted by default for a reason - to avoid bloat -
yet it feels like this is being bypassed

it’s also like me making a thread titled “Hey ya’ll im going to be making a thread in a week or 2”

Mr goat should just wait and do the review instead which serves a purpose and also gives you the preview at the same time

i welcome that
