Bounty Bar

Hello,

Just ordered some FA cocoa and some FA coconut. Looking for mixing percentages for these to create a sort of bounty bar flavour. Also ordered some Acetyl Pyrazine and cotton candy for sweetness?

Thanks - Andrew

Just to add - I like strong flavours.

FA Cocoa is one you will personally have to play with. I have found at high wattage, or higher temperatures you get a bit of a burnt taste from Cocoa if your percentage is above 1%. So make a few test samples with it and see how it does for you.

Thanks LordVapor.

I use an Ego II Twist with a small range of VV and basic ego batteries when it’s on charge.

Then I suggest you don’t use cotton candy as a sweetener, it tends to mute flavours. Marshmallow is a better option :slightly_smiling:

Here’s a “shoot from the hip”-type of recipe that I just came up with:

Bounty Bar

Ingredient %
Cocoa (FA) 3
Chocolate (FA) 1.5
Meringue (FA) 0.5
Marshmallow (FA) 1
Coconut (FA) 2

Flavor total: 8%

I have no idea if it’s any good. Flavor should be quite strong. I recommend steeping it for a few days…

Thanks for the advise but I only ordered cocoa and coconut so just wondering what is the best ratio (%) to use these at for a similar flavour.

To sweeten the chocolate/cocoa combination add a bit of Acetyl Pyrazine. It works great to bring out the chocolate flavor and sweeten it up. Which I see you will have that so you must have done your research

Here is a recipe I use these flavors in

Twixted Nut Revisited

Ingredient %
Acetyl Pyrazine 5% 0.25
Caramel (Flavorah) 1
Cocoa (FA) 0.5
Marshmallow (TPA) 3
Milk Chocolate (INAWERA) 3
Peanut Butter (TPA) 5
Sugar Cookie (CAP) 3
Vienna Cream (FA) 3

Flavor total: 18.75%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

That sounds good - should have ordered more flavours:-)

Famous last words before becoming an orderaholic!

If the cocoa is a strong flavouring do you think it would be best to use more coconut? For example 0.5% cocoa and 1% coconut?

Do you have your flavors added to your flavor stash? Once you do that you can click on the flavor and see how other people use it in recipes.

Flavour Stash? :slightly_smiling:

Go to the recipe site and click on the “User” drop down menu in the upper right corner. Click “My Flavor Stash”. Add your flavors in there. Make sure to put the quantity you purchased and the price for all flavors. Don’t worry about weight in grams. Go into your preferences and uncheck “Use manufacturer specific gravities” also.

Thanks LordVapor

@Andrew22
You should try and get the Inawera milk Chocolate
It really is a nice chocolate if left to steep for a couple of weeks.

Yes it is. My favorite chocolate of them all.

I feel like everyone should look at hic notes on flavor art flavors at least once. It’s a really detailed list of the flavors and percentages. Even tho taste is subjective it’s definitely something good to have (mama js flavor shop) then just go to hics notes on

I use HIC’s notes for a base point. But I more look at the top rated recipes with the flavor I am researching. HIC’s seem to be slightly weak for me most of the time.
