Sorry for the late reply. I might have already answered this by now somewhere else for you lol but just so you get a reply and everyone else can see how our carts work, I’ll reply here.
BCF uses a persistent cart feature that saves your cart across all your devices for 30 days. So if you sign in on desktop and close your cart then later remember something while you are out and about, and open your cart on your phone, your cart will still be there and you can add items and then go back later, and it should still be there on your desktop with the new items as well.
Carts stay intact for 30 days.
Here is the catch, though. Carts live in your cookies on your device. So if you start a cart today, then clear your cookies and cache tomorrow, your cart will disappear. Those who have regular cleaning of their devices will lose their carts at that time, even if it’s within the 30-day period.
To help mitigate the frustration of cart loss we send an abandoned cart email a day 2 after you leave your cart full so you can see what was left behind 3 months ago (don’t let a cart go that long buy today! lol) If you don’t see this email check your spam folder it might be there or if you have blocked us you wont get it. Don’t be a bummer and block our emails
We also have a wish list feature that holds up to 99 flavors per wish list. The wish list stays intact until you remove the items. You can make multiple wish lists. Maybe have one for stuff you buy all the time so you don’t have to look around, and have one for things you want to try, etc.
Thx @wllmc this is very helpful. Isn’t it also true that something might disappear from your cart if it gets sold out? In other words, someone buys the last one before you get back to your cart and place the order, lol. I believe that happened to me recently. I had FLV Toffee and Torrone in my cart and when I placed the order a message told me they were unavailable. There’s advantages and disadvantages to having an outstanding cart. As I was holding out for a flavor to restock, 2 others went bye bye, ha!
Hey, it will stay there until checkout, and then yes, you will get an out-of-stock notification. Carts do not reserve stock. Could you imagine? We would be perpetually sold out on everything all the time
@wllmc Hi, how are you? I was hoping you might know the answer to my question. Is Flavorah discontinuing its Popcorn flavor? I saw you have it in 10ml and 120ml, then I went to flavorah’s site and I saw it was discontinued. Then their site was down for maintenance for a couple of days and I couldn’t message them. Thx
I can confirm that FLV did not discontinue the Popcorn (or Beer Nuts) flavors, they have been doing some maintenance on categories and descriptions so it might have moved from where you usually find it…
They did change the name of sumo citrus a couple weeks ago to Mandarin Orange
It’s still fully available, what site are you referencing? I just checked both our retail and wholesale and it’s displaying just fine if you search Popcorn.
Because the owner of “sumo citrus” in the agriculture USPTO category filed for the flavoring extrats category and sent them a nasty email. Wasn’t worth the hassle…
I dont mess with AI…I jave seen so many things wrong with it. Our Inn is a 4.5 to 4.8 star establishment and i read an AI overview that said it was a 3.5 hotel, that made me hate AI lol
Thanks everyone about the Popcorn. Yes, I got confirmation from Bryson once I was able to message on the site. I saw the discontinued on the Flavorah site but that’s right before it went down for maintenance. It could have been a glitch and like @Rocky02852 pointed out, AI got it all wrong, like it gets many things wrong. friggin’ pita
