Butter Base VT vs Golden Butter

Has anyone tried both of these? If so can you tell me which one you believe tastes more like butter to you?

Hey I only have the golden butter i use it to add richness to a bakery i think it’s realistic but then i have no other butter to compare it to. But have you tried sugar butter cookie by one on one that’s a great sugar cookie with hints of butter but i add golden butter to bring out the creamy buttery notes.

I haven’t tried that one on one… I do use croissant VT for butter note and it’s pretty good, but I was curious about the Butter Base :slight_smile:

I will be paying attention for some thoughts on the VT also, I have the Golden Butter and Butter F.A., I’m not sure who it was that was raving about the FA. Butter a while back, But I did work with it a little, I found it pretty strong at less than 1% to me they both are decent butters though I would go a little higher on Capella. Have you tried any others?

Just buttercream lol… I haven’t used that in forever though
