Candy/Jammy Wizard - Flavour Art, does anyone still use it?

Hi everyone, I’m new to mixing and just saw one of my flavour suppliers has Candy/Jammy Wizard - Flavour Art available. This sounds like a cool little flavour enhancer but I can’t find much actual discussion of it on here besides people saying to try it in small amounts when giving recipe advice.
I had a look and it was only used in 3 public recipes last year and 1 so far this year. Does anyone still use this? Is it worth experimenting with? I like concentrated things because the bottle will last forever.
Talk me in/out of this. Is it a valuable tool to have?

Worth noting Nic River list the ingredients as Propylene Glycol, Ethyl Acetate, Ethyl Butyrate, Furaneol, Damascenone, Damascone Alpha, Eugenol.
The 2 Ethyls must add the berry flavours and the other bits do the jammy stuff I guess?

Truthfully I only add drops of this to gummy candy flavors I feel its overpowering sometimes.

So do I use it alot, not really.

I guess no one really does. Lol
Makes me even more tempted to try it.

The correct naming convention is Candy/Jammy Wizard (FA). You may have used the wrong name when doing a search. I see 210 public recipes.

I appreciate your efforts but I actually copy/pasted the name from that page for my title so that it could be found easier by people searching. I didn’t realise the flavour name and heading at the top of the page were different. But I have been looking at the right listing.
I just said only 3 recipes used it in 2025. I can see all the recipes over history. Just wondering if it’s fallen out of favour or if it’s just the jam trend has ended?
Thanks for your help though, I myself am wary of using the right names for accuracy sake and people searching in future.

Put it this way, I prefer sweet and tart, or candy stick, or pixy stick all before that.

Shiiii I completely understand why many people shy away from offering advice publicly to avoid the potential backlash or warnings. It’s funny how that creates a culture where people end up preferring to help others via “DMs” instead. The 90’s was a great time. It has changed.

They were just letting me know I might be searching for the wrong flavour name. It’s all good man, there’s no backlash here.

Being new to vapes I missed the whole jam craze, so it might be my thing? I’m not overly into sugary sweet vapes. Is that what I’m definitely getting with this product? Or is the jammy quality more about flavour than sweetness?

Ok I just knuckle tested it, there is a sweetness and a very clove type of taste, if you have ever had clove, I would say it’s similar to that, with a white gummy back ground. There is some sort of ice to it but its very minor.

That’s interesting. I just had a Google of the ingredients and Eugenol is actually derived from clove oil. So that explains that flavour. Could be useful in making spiced flavour things maybe?

Wow my tongue does work…

In my 20’s I smoked cloves, cigars, and non filters till my 30’s. Yes non filters.
I smoked a brand called Black

So I thought for sure my tongue was toast after cloves, cigars, and non filters.

Derailing the thread with this, but

Same. I’ve mixed up this a few times. Not really an ADV for me, but the nostalgia is real without all the negatives

That recipe looks fun.
I also smoked cloves, but when I was verrrrry young and had to take whatever I could get. I can still remember that taste though….

I feel ya, that’s why I smoked non filters, I didn’t smoke cloves everyday, it gave me a hint a black licorice taste as well.

I was into flavor cigs when camel came out with this:

But cloves and flavors cigs was more of a weekend thing when I went to bars.

Its crazy they took flavors away from vapes but cigs nah thats ok you can have it… :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Come to Australia, you can’t even buy menthols anymore. Not legally anyway. But they’ve messed it up so bad with their bans that about 80% of tobacco sold is black market.
So I guess you can get menthols, but the government don’t want you to

Government’s like control, I bet they are vaping inside there office right now laughing.

Underground vape flavored juice dealers is crazy to think about.

That would be cool. But it’s just cheaply made Chinese disposables :frowning:
