Staged heating… a crazy light show. That was one on favorites when I was builder.
This was a slightly hammered 26/38 fused Clapton with 28/38 Clapton in parallel on a 3mm. 0.112ohms.
I’ve now also got s VCM LE 24K gold mech that I’ve paired up with my DOTMOD PETRI and a DISTRICT F5VE KupCake chuff cap.

Here’s a couple of new pics for you all here.
So I decided to bite the bullet so to speak and purchased the latest offering from DotMod the Petri v2 with 2mmX3mm cyclops post hole on each post.
The build in this Petri is a 2x26/38 alien parallel 24 all nichrome80. 6/5 wrap on a 3mm 0.092 ohms.

3 strand twisted 34g twisted with single stand 28g.
would do some better but i currently own one small ass build deck (billow v2) barely got these in without shorting out. glad the idea came to me though one of the best vapes I’ve had to date. possibly better than fused clapton. definitely on par.

What internal diameter were these?
They look like a 3mm?
I’ve found with anything intricate for the billowv2 you ideally need to use 2.5mm or less.
3x30g twisted and paralleled with 29g
30/34 staggered fused claptons.
32/38 fused claptons with parallel 29g.
All of these coils were wrapped on a 2.4mm driver.
Your coils look good although they seem rather large for the billow.

I’m only a newbie to builds, 3yrs vaping and been a lazy sod for the most of it. Coil building and DIY were 2 things I avoided for the longest time. Now I enjoy both.
The coil isn’t great here, just 26/32 clapton wire, I was just being a bit artsy

they’re smaller than 2.5 probably around 2.4mm inner diameter. it’s just have to wrap more as I’m using a shitty 50w kbox mini that only fires down to .3ohms probably dpringing out more when I position over air flows.
i ideally like it around .5 .6ohms on this mod due to battery life and heat up isdues till my realeaux arives then it’s on like donkey kong.
27g x2 with a 36g nicr wrap6/7 wraps 2.5ID 0.2 ohm’s in the Billow v3.

I just built my first RDA’s today, I used coils from fasttech. The taste was amazing, you guys were right, it does taste better.
I couldn’t figure out why I was so intensely suddenly interested in building RDA’s and owning dripper’s. I found this thread and figured it out. I’ve been spending too much time on this site.

Couple of pics of what I’ve been playing with.
The build is an InterLocking Alien.
2x Clapton wires wrapped in parallel.
Decored
Then stretched and reverse wrapped around the core.
Specs are 2x26gNi80 cores with 2x38gNi80 Interlocking alien wrap.
Around 0.13ohms.
