Not yet I don’t.
I’m contemplating the Smok M80, IPV4, SnowWolf200w, Tesla160 or just an unregulated dual 18650 box.

I’ve recorded my review of they dot mods clones they’re lovely your lucky you got the black stainless steel one dude the paint comes off all the other stainless steel ones its utter bullshit I was ragin!
How you finding the tiny post holes?
Make sure you get something reliable and all the watts you can afford. You gonna need it as you get more into building coils.
I tried your twisted wrapped Clapton and it came out beautifully. I’ll post it later.
The M80 from a cost perspective is great value with the v007 @£45 built in battery and I can then get a nice little RTA to match it with for work etc.
The IPV4 I like but it’s £59.99 plus 4 HE4’s.
Snow wolf is getting extreme lol.
I’m honestly thinking the M80 with its .1 resistance ability.
Glad you’ve tried the twisted clap wrap.

I got the m65 and to be honest I don’t rate it .I know it’s only a single battery .but on my experience of that I wouldn’t buy the m80.
For starters it reads ohms .1 to low I think it’s supposed to fire down to 0.2 but in reality it only fires down to 0.3 .The m80 may be different ?
Plus if I turn it up to 65w on a full charge after about 1 draw it turns itself down , again the m80 may be different
Cheers for the insight,
Apparently the firmware updates on the M80 have rectified quite a few issues with the TC aspect of the usability on the device.
Such as it used to take around 7seconds to fire up to your set temp now it’s about a 2 second delay.
@NewDrip has the M80 with v007 how are you finding usability of your M80?
J
And you’re sure you’re using a genuine high power, high drain battery? My Cloupor did this (rebooted) until I realized that my battery wasn’t good - switched it out and all was well.
I have the M80 and haven’t had any problems with it. I use it almost daily and it lasts all day. It fires all my coils above .1 ohm. I’ve only had it a couple months and I’m not sure about it’s longevity. I would suggest for you to get something a little bit better tho for what you want to do. Stash your cash and keep an eye on the deal section. I just my 2nd IPV4 for $60. I also have the M50 and it’s a bit qwerky tho… but I’ve had it for almost a year.
Maybe @MixedUp1 can weigh in on his M80.
Yeah its a 25r bought from a vendor with a good rep
But i had used it in another mod previously .
Could possibly be the battery’s not holding its charge as well any more ?
I just use it as a toddle puffer lol
the Samsung 25r’s or really good and affordable if i was u id go with something like the new joytech evic it’s got three different modes kanthal nickel and titanium wire can all be used and the wattage is nice?
I have an m80 as well , it’s a decent mod for the money . I haven’t had any issues using it as just a vw mod but temp control is non existent. For 80 watts it’s a good deal . Is it the most sturdy solid mod no. I’d save your money and invest in a Sig or there are wicked deals on IPV4 out there and it’s been good to me so far ( 3 weeks)
I’ll probably just hold out for the IPV4.
I could get the snow wolf 200w for $96 about £65 from GearBest on the deal.
The trouble @NewDrip knows that some of my builds are getting a bit too low for my 25r’s to keep up and some are getting too much wire to ramp up quickly enough.
There’s just too many bloody options. I’m like a kid in a sweet shop.
I WANT EVERYTHING NOW!!!
Lol.
