Welcome to the forum. You are at the right place for obtaining many a clue. You did not say where you are in the world. If your in the USA I can recommend two widely used sources for Nic, VG, PG, and some flavor concentrates. My favorite is https://riversupplyco.com/, I’ve used this place alot when I first started DIY’ing my juice, https://www.diye-liquidsupplies.com/, they sell bundles and starter kits that allowed me to start out with small amounts till I figured out what I want. This is the 1000ml Vape-a-day bundle, my main stay for a couple of years. I started out buying pre-mixed base. You get X volume of x% nicotine / x%Vegetable Glycerin / x% Propylene Glycol . For example 1000ml of 12mg/ml 60VG/40PG. I found it very convenient but most will recommend buying Nicotine, VG, and PG separate as it is more economical and you have the flexibility to try different ratios and can also be more exacting than using pre-mixed base alone.

Another place I hear alot about on this forum is Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers, I have yet to use them but I’m sure I will at some point.

I recommend you purchase a scale and mix by weight instead of volume. This way you can avoid the expense and cleaning of syringes, pipettes, graduated cylinders, and what not. Plus it’s a very quick way. Not as accurate but I only mix for myself. Here is the recipe calculator for this site https://e-liquid-recipes.com/create .

Like anything you can invest a little, or a lot, that’s up to you. You can really save $$ over buying store bought juice and you can make great recipes that you enjoy.

Welcome to the forum! I’m a DIY newbie as well, and made my first batch last night. I was fortunate that it was a success. I was SUPPOSED to let it steep for a minimum of ten days, but I vaped it all up! LOL

The people here are phenomenal, and are very well versed in DIY. Heed their advice. They’ve been down this road before, and we’re the beneficiaries of their knowledge.
