My wife is experiencing this, as are many other people.
I hope she recovers quickly and suffers no ill-effects: One of my few returns in this thread.
She advised her Primary Care Physician about her heart condition, and allergies, and she promptly handed her off to a Pharmacist. YES, a Pharmacist. Everyone said, “Good to Go”. Well, weeks after her first shot, the racing heartbeat, chest pains, and headaches have only continued. She was NOW told (oh, thanks for that by the way), to NOT get her 2nd shot. You think ?? !!! Now we will be driving to meet with cardiologists, and more.
Once I browsed the Redd, I became even more enraged that this “issue” is, and has been going on, yet her PCP had no issues, and pharmed my wife over to a Pharmacist. Not happy, not happy at all, and growing LESS happy by the minute.

She went in for an EKG, and was told to ride in an ambulance to the ER. She refused, and I drove her. This is at the BIGGEST hospital in our State mind you.
Now, I’m going to go the F OFF in a rant here, so if no one wants to hear that, SKIP to the next post.
I can’t go in, until she’s in a room, due to whatever policy that is. Fine. She meets triage nurse, starts getting admitted, but only her, not me. Fine. I’m out front, looking around to see what’s going on, and what’s NOT going on.
There were NO ambulances rushing people in/out, no life alert helo flights inbound, no people waiting outside, dying to get in.
I took the liberty of talking to quite a FEW of OTHER people, who are also told to wait outside, some had been waiting for 12-18 hours !!!
YES, still waiting. I asked, if they were overrun by COVID patients, and everyone said NO. I asked the staff, the hospital police, and they all replied no. Well WTF is up with these Q#$#$%#$^ wait times ?? !!!
EVERYONE I talked to, both patients, families, staff, etc., said TWO THINGS were at play here.
- The BIGGEST hospital in my state, just LAID OFF a LARGE amount of nurses, due to lack of need.
- A few of the remaining were “gone-d” for not taking the vaccine.
There you have it people, as of 2 hours ago, in the BIGGEST hospital in Delaware.
This is what we’ve got here now ??

Before you go thinking this is all hearsay, hehe, let me stop you, as I saw a friend from my friend’s Fire Company who is a fireman and an EMT, and he said the exact same thing.
I can’t believe this is going on, in 2021. I thought it was ALL because of COVID !!! Horse dewormer, and all that. Well, apparently NOT HERE.
We’ve had such a LOW COVID hospitalization, that the hospital laid off a large part of their workforce, and then, decided to enforce the vaccine mandate on all of the remaining.
I hope to rant helped you let off some steam.
This is only beginning, and I’m going to be on the phone dealing with some of these “issues” now.
Ranting solves nothing.
I will say, with all of the “coverage” of “overrun” hospitals plays 24/7 here, and now that I’m seeing it FIRST HAND, that that, is NOT the case, and am now finding out why you could have 60+ people in an Emergency Room with only TWO NURSES. I see what’s what here @SquirrelSmash.
Edit, wife just disclosed there were 60 people waiting…
Well I will keep you in my thoughts and incantations.

After an almost 6 hour wait, wife discharged herself. We’ll have to deal with this elsewhere.
