I’d be concerned, Muth… but that is just me… rather be safe than sorry…

And one more because 3’s a charm  Someone said to me we’re not going back to the way things were. I wasn’t sure how to respond nor had I given it any deep thought…yet. But I have been getting this creepy feeling that my life isn’t going to just pick up where it left off. I feel a shift but I don’t know what it is or when it’s coming. I’m not sure what I think of this article but it’s something to chew on…for now.

Definitely a major effup that has costed us dearly. That is among a long line screw up that’s still occurring. In yesterdays WH Press Conf. the CDC recommended that Americans wear a face mask when their out and about to help slow the spread of CoV-19… almost immediately the president made an unsolicited response… “I’m not going to wear it”, “It’s only a recommendation and not a requirement”. IMO that wasn’t necessary from the top of government to say that damn near immediately after a CDC announcement!

You too? Took a 10mg dose. My heart beat dropped to 30 beats a minute. Became day blind. It was my first dose and my last.

The CDC is about as useless as tits on a bull. The masks are useless. It blocks nothing viral.
I lost all respect for the CDC on how they handled the vitimin E issue. I will take my direction from European authority. At least they have the general interest of the public in mind.

Oh great! Out of the Boston neighborhoods mine is hit the hardest. I want to say something nasty right now but I won’t.

Stay safe. Spanking (unrelated) 20-somethings with the kitchen broom could transmit the virus, so wear gloves and a mask when handing out local Justice :smirk: :hugs:

There is a way to stop spreading and identifying who has this virus. For a lot of Americans restriction of rights and how these steps hurt the economy are their top priority . The theory is a mask or even a multi layered cloth reduce the distance the virus travels when exhaled… will it totally stop spreading the virus… no! There ain’t a lot of option left as we know there ain’t enough PPE to go around… so anything that will (even if not a full deterrent) help slow or reduce the spread is of benefit… IMO.

True enough. Such home-brew (as well as the fancier) items protect other persons from oneself - rather than providing significant protection from others. Stigmatic? Perhaps something for folks to wrestle with

Saw an article re: a 5 year study comparing paper surgical masks to N95 masks during treatment of seasonal flu, and there was little difference. It’s not blocking virii themselves it’s catching the droplets (bigger). I think it said they we both 95% effective

Did you see the pic of the woman wearing a huge 18th century hoop dress? Fantastic idea. Right now I feel like wearing long spikes protruding from my body. I could be a sea urchin.

Kinda helps to keep your fingers away from your face, too :grinning:

Which notably becomes hard to do - in the course of the adjusting an N95 (or other fit-able) mask.
