Couple used RDA's

I’m looking for a used RDA or 2. Why used? Because I can’t get the 2 I just got, apart. Tried hot water, blow dryer, freezer…

Then figured, what the hell? It’s not worth sending them back, so I tried a couple channel locks. Nothing!

I think if I got a couple that are already apart, I can do it again. Little PG/VG for a lube…

I’m in the U.S. so I don’t know how many of y’all can ship at that cost.

I will cover the costs, though.

Post pics bro. I’ve had a couple rough experiences, but always figured it out.

Asgard V2 RDA - Vaperz Cloud - https://vaperzcloud.com/product/asgard-v2-rda-satin-black/

I don’t see where there are any threads, just 0 rings.

I had another, but I broke a leg off from a coil and couldn’t get it out so I tossed it. I had a devil of a time with that one too, but I got it apart. A little PG/VG and I had no problems after that.

Screw that RDA on a mod and see if you can turn the barrel a little bit counterclockwise. I’m thinking it should just slide off.

I seat my DR RDA and make 1/4 turn to lock it down. Perfectly lined up airflow 90° to the mod.

Lmk how it goes

You 'da man, he 'da man, everyone’s 'da man!

It’s been soaking in PG/VG for a while. I have a little - uh, don’t recall what it’s actually called, but I got it from a hardware store. Just a base to handle a 510. Screwed it on, tried to turn it counterclockwise and it just loosened the 510.

I figured, 'ya know what? It’s GOT to be lubricated enough by now to grease up the 0 rings, so I grabbed my channel locks, twisted clockwise, and it popped right off!

I figured if I tried it on the mod, I’d screw it up and need a new mod.

I likes my whoppers, almond joy’s and custards, and the last time I mixed some, 50/50 PG/VG @ different Nic %,for 3 pods I bought, and I hacked up lungs. WAY too harsh. I had let them steep for 2 weeks.

The pods were of different ohms and watts, thinking I’d learn about that, as well as testing flavors, rather than filling 8.5 ml tanks, dumping them out, cleaning…etc.

I had several bottles I tried and they all tried to kill me so I tossed the bottles and made some more with the help of @Old_Goat .

Tossed two of the replacement pods, but not the third. Dunno why…

A few months ago, I found a pod that I hadn’t tosses and thought, “what the hell, right”? Smooth as a babies buttocks. Just not much flavor.

I now have 15 bottles. 3 bottles of one flavor, each with 6, 2 and 0 Nic. 3 of the next, and so forth. THESE have been steeping for 3 months!

I got some nic patches from my Dr. I figure if I have to go 0 nic, I’ll wear them until I can just plain vape for the action and flavors.

All this, to say, THANKS! I’ll let you know the results as soon as they’re in.

Vaperz Cloud will absolutely send you a replacement. I’ve been purchasing them for years. They are a very reputable company. I wouldn’t soak them, because the o-rings will expand making it’s tighter. I’d run it under some hot water… then immediately try to pull the cap off. I had a couple of stuck RDA’s a while back that had been sitting with juice and dirty coils…I just ran em over hot water, put them on a mod and gently worked to loosen them. Just be careful not to pull too hard or the 510 could snap off.

Have you tried putting them in a freezer overnight?

Old school solution for old school rdas back in the day.

Yep. Hot water (Which should make things expand) freezer (Should make things shrink and be the best idea.)

Neither. Even tried every 4 letter word I know and invented a few I didn’t know. I didn’t get your message before soaking them. I did in fact soak them for about 90 minutes in 70/30 VG/PG. Slipped right off. Sounds like I got lucky again.

Nothing as close as when I heard my wife say, “I do” but these days, I’ll take all the wins I can get.
