Has anybody tried Craft Flavour concentrates? Nom Nomz carry a bunch of them, but I can find no reviews anywhere.
Craft Flavors are rebranded Flavour Art (FA).
Same as Flavour Creative at Chefs, Italian Artist at Rainbowvapes, Arte Italiano at Vapable, etc.
Thanks. You’ve just saved me some money!
Glad to help. Shops are buying big containers of flavor and them re-bottle them into small and some manufacturers deny them the privilege of selling those under their own name (for legal reasons; thankfully this is rare nowadays). Flavors are the same, so most of us are buying re-bottled FA, not originals.
There are some more:
LorAnn (LA) - Lauren’s (Chefs) / Lorna’s Flavors (Nomnomz) / Lorannce (Rainbowvapes) / Lorain (VaporDepot) / LorrAine’s (thee-cigshop)
Medicine Flower (MF) - Botanic Elixir (at Vapordepot, 1/9 dillution)
CupCakeWorld (CCW) and one other company (one or the other or both) - Chef’s Choice / Nomnomz Treats / Vapable / Aristo-Cat
Reka - Wrecka (Chefs)
Great! I was wandering about Nomnomz Treats.
Does anybody sell Sobucky SA under other name?
I know this is an old thread, but is this still the case? I ran out of a few FA flavors, and need to restock. Is going with Craft Flavour from Nomz just a cheaper alternative? I won’t be able to tell the difference?
Why would they sell both FA and Craft on the same site if this was the case? Bigger profit margin on renaming and rebottling?
FA started with small sales to private individuals at the dawn of vaping but over time it has increasingly repositioned itself in B2B sales. For them it is currently more convenient to sell large stocks to third parties who often do nothing but rebottle everything and resell under another brand.
The last time I bought the Craft Flavour they were identical to the original FA; at the moment I can’t say for sure, but nothing should have changed, as from May 1st here in Italy we can no longer buy flavors from other countries.
Some due to different regulations, some don’t want to be associated with vaping since this is micro and nearly irrelevant niche to their business, some to simply protect their brand and its quality. Giving away re-bottling to the shop means that shops become responsible for the quality, safety, best by, storing standards, quality and material of bottles, etc and for any contamination that may happen during rebottling phase (which is often very different environment than labs that brands provide, right?), instead of all these things falling onto well positioned and respected brand; so it makes sense that they don’t allow their hard built trademark be used by some substandard vendor that they don’t even know. It’s way more important business decision than appears at first for the brands.
Shops can thus choose whether they’ll be selling original bottles (that are more under control and restrictions) or rebottled (but they have to use other brand name in this case). Only large shops decide to offer rebottling (and thus use their own brand; because to make sense they need to buy large barrels of flavor which small shops obviously can’t.
This is why you often don’t see rebottled flavors of some obscure flavorings (like Anise FA, Decano FA or…) – shops simply don’t want to take a risk to buy that high amount of that particular flavor, while they know they’ll be able to sell barrels of Custard Premium or Vanilla Cookie or… This is also the reason why these shops offer both, original and rebranded flavors = simply because otherwise they couldn’t offer obscure flavors and because some vapers still prefer original bottles with a brand’s guaranteed quality, not shop’s guaranteed quality.
Technically they should be the same and i never heard anyone saying that there is any difference, but still… one comes with a guarantee, while the other doesn’t. Most vapers prefer cheaper version of the same flavor ofc since noone could taste the difference.
As you probably saw, Nomz is not offering rebottled new FA flavors = too high risk i assume, especially in these times when politics can close your business nearly after night, so sadly we won’t see cheaper versions that often anymore. While Chefs was alive, they had nearly all FA flavors rebranded since they were 5XL shop; Nomz is not that size yet.
They do not offer rebranded FAUK flavors (these are not officially FA, but flavors that their prime distributor had created = FAUK, so they can’t offer them under their own brand, neither they gone through all rigorous testing phases like standard FA flavors did i would assume).
Nomz treats aka cupcake world devon cream is a amazing flavor
