Not sure if im going to stick with Eggnog LA, it works but it is almost the wrong kind of eggnog for this. Hasnt stopped me from ripping through the 60ml i made.
I have made another version that ups the Cus 2, Sweet Bread and dropped the LA Eggnog, just have to decide on the other spice notes, Rich Cin and Nutmeg WF is what im leaning towards.
I reworked an older recipe I had that incorporated a couple of ingredients like bread pudding for the cinnamon note and bready note, nutmeg to accompany the cinnamon and maple, and heavy cream, because it’s buttery and rich. This is my eggnog inspired recipe without actually using FW or Flv eggnog
Good to see you back around again Ken! I see you used one of my favorite custards in yours. I love that custard extra 2. I’m going to mix yours too. I can’t resist.
I’ve done some digging into the DIYVapor issue. And I was told that the reason that there is no response from DIYVapor is that the original owner passed and the remaining children are fighting over ownership rights. So the whole company is stuck in probate. The one son who ran the shop is locked out of making any changes including the website until the dispute gets settled.
Years ago there was a company, whose name i have forgotten, that made a Strawberry Eggnog. It was delicious. Your post reminded me of it so am putting one together. Thanks for that!
The had an “old ship” on the label, like 1800’s ship. If anyone remember them please let me know.
I don’t know about a eliquid with a ship on the label but I have an old school recipe for Strawberry Nog by Fuggin Vapor Co. As I remember when I mixed it it’s got a slight nog vibe to it, probably due to the egginess of the Vanilla Bean Gelato and the nutmeg in Holiday spice. Other than that it’s a basic strawberry cream with eggnog vibes. I rated it around 8/10.
I wasn’t going to create for this mix along as I wasn’t feeling really festive this year, then I had an idea after trying a new flavor for me, Crème Anglaise by Nomz. This has really worked out well and really resembles a classic traditional eggnog for enjoying with your friends or gnomies.
This will be my first submission to this mix-along thing so hopefully I get it right. Here goes nothing,Eggnog Ginger Cookie
Let me know if and how I need to do anything else to make this right.
Thank you all!
