December is a hectic month for a house full of musicians. I think I’ve had one single day so far that hasn’t included a rehearsal, gig, or performance of some kind. Mixing endeavors have been limited, but I did get this one together, and I think it’s worth sharing.
Mouthfeel for days. Flavor is a soft, slightly under baked cinnamon roll that’s been soaking in eggnog. Typical custard, cream, and spice players here. But LA Butter Rum and OOO Cinnamon Roll are both pretty unmistakable flavors and give it a unique twist.
I went conservative with LMP, not wanting to curdle the cream so to speak, but I think it might benefit from just a touch more.
Enjoy
And please, do not enter me in the spin.
I searched that and found eggnog fudge! Actually, the search said exactly what you said and that it’s not available anymore or maybe rebranded. They recommended a similar product called Pennsylvania Dutch Strawberries and Cream. And there are some recipes shown that replicate the original. I can’t copy the search page but I searched, Old Ship Strawberries and Cream Eggnog.
I wanted to make a Eggnog concoction without using said flavoring. I ended up using more flavors than I wanted and I’m sure the TFA Cheesecake scares some but I’ll let others decide.
I couldn’t let the year ring out without joining in despite everything going on. I took up Rocky with his alternate brownie idea but had zero brownie flavors so I used the Red Velvet Cake to push it towards brownie territory. The Dessert Chocolate has a cakeyness to it.
Happy New Year!
Naa I wasn’t but duly noted. I constantly heard many hated this flavor over the years but imo this is due to using it too high. One of my most popular flavors many moons ago had .25% in it so I know first hand it can be appreciated with good execution.
Yohoho Rocky, HNY!! Yeah thank you, for whatever reason never took to the forum. I apologize for never posting. After some digging, join date was indeed 2016 lol
