I remember reading that native people would dig little tunnels at polluted water sources. The water would flow through it and the earth would filter it.
Ceramic is baked earth, isn’t it?

He’s using terracotta but I think there are different types of ceramic (don’t quote me on that). If you read the comments on YT there are some scientific and pro potter’s replies with knowledge of those things. I guess some clay pots can have contaminants in them but he tells you how to disinfect them with colloidal silver spray or vinegar.
