Is there somewhere you can put in one of your recipes and find out exactly how much it costs to make that recipe?

Yes on the e-Liquid Calculator, if you enter the size and cost of your concentrates / base / Nic In your stash, it will show price to make

Go to User/Preferences and you will be able to to add PG, VG and nicotine costs (as well as nicotine strength)
